SRT has announced that it will return to Le Mans 24 hour race with Viper GTS-R. According to the American officials, there will be two Viper’s GTS-R that will compete in LM GTE Pro class.
“Racing is truly a part of the illustrious history of Viper and a proving ground for the SRT brand. Historically, the Viper GTS-R has enjoyed great success at Le Mans, so we couldn’t be more excited and proud to accept the challenge to return to France,” said Ralph Gilles, SRT boss.
The new SRT Viper GTS-R was developed by SRT Motorsports and Riley Technologies and it made its debut last year in Mid-Ohio. Under the jump you can see a video of the Viper’s racing history.
