The British car magazine AutoExpress has published the first spy photos of the new Skoda Octavia Combi vRS. The new Czech model is heavily tested in Scandinavia.
As we expect, the new vRS models will feature a more aggressive look and a sportier engine. On the outside we see new bumpers, restyled rear wings and trapezoidal exhaust pipes. The new Octavia vRS is hiding under the bonnet a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine that can deliver 220 bhp. The power will be sent to the wheels via a six speed manual transmission or thanks to a DSG gear box.
For diesel fans, Skoda is also developing a 2.0 liter turbodiesel engine that will be unveiled after the petrol engine goes in sale in June. The price for the new Skoda Octavia vRS is expected to start at 21.500 pounds.
