Skoda is launching a limited edition Yeti version in the UK called Urban, which according to them, targets style-savvy customers.
Production for the Skoda Yeti Urban will be limited to 750 exemplars, and each will be exclusively available in two-wheel-drive with a manual transmission, and with two engine choices : a 105 PS 1.2-litre TSI and a 110 PS 2.0-litre TDI.
The Urban which is based on the SE trim level comes with 2,450 GBP worth of extra equipment, and we are talking about features such as Amundsen+ satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and a multi-function steering wheel.
The Yeti Urban Limited Edition also comes with 17 inch black-and-chrome ‘Matterhorn’ alloys, wheel arch extensions, chrome side strips, silver door mirror caps, silver roof rails and roof stripes, while on the inside it features sports seats in red or black and tinted rear glass.
According to Skoda, the the 1.2-litre TFSI engine offers fuel economy figures of 44.1 mpg (combined, UK rating) and CO2 emissions of 149 grams per Km, while the 2.0-litre TDI unit enable 52.3 mpg (combined, UK rating) and CO2 levels of 140 grams per Km.
The Skoda Yeti Urban price starts at 16,900 GBP for the petrol model and at 18,330 GBP for the diesel, and availability across the UK will start from April.
