Skoda has decided to bring back the Laurin & Klement trim level in the electric era. As a result, the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe will soon be available in the L&R trim line.

Aside for the exterior modifications – which are only a few – there are some power and range improvements.

The Enyaq L&K 85 debuts a 210-kilowatt (282-horsepower) powertrain. It will be available with rear-wheel driver or all-wheel drive – which is a little bit strange for Skoda. Also, the L&K 85 will feature a bigger battery to deliver up to 570 kilometres of range with one charge.

Thanks to this setup, the Enyaq L&K 85 with AWD is 2 second faster compared the most powerfull version of the current range.

The battery will feature a preheating system which means shorter charging times at DC stations. According to Skoda, the new variant will need 30 minutes to get from 10 to 80% SoC.
