Here is a terrifying incident that was registered by an on-board GoPro camera placed inside a Shelby Cobra.
The whole thing took place at the Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, California where the owner of a Shelby Cobra had a close encounter with death when something in the vehicle’s suspension or steering broke while he was going 130 miles per hour.
As the footage shows, the Cobra was damaged beyond recognition, but the most important thing is that the driver has only walked away with minor injuries to his ribs and left knee. And that is despite the fact that car was only equipped with a small roll bar behind the driver seat, while the guy behind the steering wheel was only wearing his safety harness and helmet.
