The German car maker Porsche has unveiled today the 911 50th Anniversary Edition. The model will be shown in public at the Frankfurt Motor Show and represents the special present for turning 50 years of 911 history.

The new model is based on the 911 Carrera S and will be produced in 1.963 units. The special edition will ride on 20 inch alloy wheels and will have a special tuned Porsche Active Suspension Management.

There are also a few exterior tweaks that make this model a unique acquisition. Under the hood there is the same six cylinder boxer engine that can deliver 400 horsepower and can accelerate from stand still to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds (4.3 seconds with PDK transmission).
