German automaker Opel has revealed its Insignia Country Tourer that will be unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September.
The new care is based on the Insignia Sports Tourer station wagon but it also has some off-road features like taller ground clearance and protective body elements.
The standard Insignia Country Tourer comes with all-wheel drive and a range of torque turbocharged engines.
In terms of powering, Opel Insignia Country Tourer will be offered with a 2.0 SIDI turbocharged engine capable producing 250 HP and 400 Nm of torque. Also available will be a 2.0 CDTI producing 163 HP and 350 Nm or 380 Nm, and a 2.0 BiTurbo CDTI generating 195 HP and 400 Nm. The transmission choices include a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic.
