German tuning house RS Racingteam decided to offer a new approach for the current BMW M3, the most praised product of the M Division. The modified coupe reaches 450 hp or 331 kW at 8.300 rpm and a maximum torque of 431 Nm at 4.100 rpm. As the electronic speed limiter is blown up, the proband runs up to 299 km/h.
With only two seats the sprint from standstill to 100 km/h takes 4,6 seconds, while the 200 km/h-barrier falls in 14,7 seconds. The vehicle is in addition 190 Kg lighter than the standard counterpart.
The interior of BMW RS-M3 is thereby strongly marked by DMSB-certified safety cell made by Wiechers Sport, which was completely welded. The entry due to the cage bars is visibly less easy than before, but it offers the passengers of the BMW RS-M3 excellent protection and increases immensely the vehicle rigidity. Two certified hard shell seats provide space for two passengers.
A particularly large share in the success of the BMW RS-M3 is exclusively manufactured chassis of BMW RS-M3 supplied by the Company Bilstein.
The important connection between vehicle and road consists in 19 inch forged ATS-Superlight-wheels, including sport tires.
