Romeo Ferraris have just announced that they will unveil a 300 HP, road going version Abarth 500 at the Autodromo Vallelunga Village Superstars event held between October 8 and 9.
The car will be inspired from the track version shown in the picture, with some of the upgrades including a new front bumper with larger air intakes,a vented bonnet, a modified rear section and a new exhaust featuring a metal catalytic converter.
The Romeo Ferraris Abarth 500 will also feature a bigger turbine and revised electronics, while the 1.4-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged unit will be downgraded (as we already specified) to 300 horses (down from 360 HP).
Romeo Ferrari promises further details regarding the Abarth 500 road car (which they call the Cinquone) in the coming weeks.
