In the latest episode of Petrolicious we meet one of the best pocket rocket cars of all times: the legendary Renault 5 Turbo. Unveiled for the first time during Brussels Motor Show, the R5 Turbo quickly became one of the best cars at that moment.
Sadly, Renault produced only 3576 units of the R5 Turbo. The car was equipped with a 1.4 liter turbocharged engine, developing 160 hp, more than today`s pocket rockets (see the Abarth 500 or Suzuki Swift Sport). The story of this car is special though, as it starts only 15 kilometers away from famous Le Mans circuit.
