EVO has recently tested the new Subaru BRZ against the Renault Megane RS 265 Trophy on track to see which is the fastest and most enjoyable out of the two.
The result is rather surprising and you’ll have to watch the video yourself to find out why but before you do that here are some quick reminders referring to these two cars.
The Renault Megane RS 265 Trophy uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine to send 265 horsepower to the front wheels whereas the Subaru BRZ is fitted with a 200 HP naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter flat-four that spins the rear wheels.
The French hatch takes 6 seconds to attain 62 mph from a stand still, while the Japanese coupe is 1.6 seconds slower. They both cost just below 25,000 GBP in the UK.
