The new Renault Formula 2.0 race car has just completed its first test session successfully at the Pembrey Circuit in South Wales, UK. Driving the Renault Formula 2.0 race car was Formula Renault UK Champion Dean Smith who hopes will rank up to formula 2 this season.
The 2010 Renault Formula 2.0 race car features a new chassis and the 2.0-litre engine powering it delivers 210 bhp. The car also uses a 7-speed paddle-shift sequential gearbox and after doing around 75 laps around the track, Manor Competition Team Manager Tony Shaw said “The test went really well and we’re very happy with the car and its build quality."
The new Renault Formula 2.0 race car will debut at the  2010 Michelin Formula Renault UK Championship for which opening rounds will take place at Hampshire’s Thruxton circuit on 3rd/4th April.
