The first Renault DeZir video showing the French concept in action has also been revealed, and even though we cannot tell if the footage is real or CGI, the car’s futuristic shapes are quite stunning.
Based on the official figures, the Renault DeZir concept delivers sports car performance thanks to a hybrid powering system composed from a Li-Ion battery (23 kWh) and an electric motor producing 110 kW. The Renault DeZir accelerates from nought to 62 mph in 5 seconds flat while its top speed is of 112 mph.
The French company says the electric motor fitted on the Renault DeZir is the same found in their production vehicles today.
