Porsche has announced a new software upgrade for Taycan. This time it is not an over-the-air product, since the customers have to go with their cars in service.

The update is free of charge and it is applicable to all Taycan models no matter the year of production.

Thanks to this new software, the Taycan powertrain efficiency has been improved, which means a lower energy consumption and a bigger range.

Also, there are some improvements in the multimedia package: Porsche Communication Management (PCM) and Porsche Connect receive new functions and a colorful tile design on the start screen. The Park Assist system also has been improved.

This particular option was introduced in Porsche configurator a few years after the official launch and now is available as a retrofit.
