One of the biggest surprises at the Geneva Motor Show this year was the Porsche 918 Spyder Concept that impressed the world with its supercar like abilities and also reduced fuel consumption and emission figures.
We have even more good news today as a production version Porsche 918 Spyder is expected to get developed in maximum 5 years, information based on inside sources and positive reactions received from officials inside Porsche A.G.
The company’s boss Michael Macht said "There is no one inside Porsche who doesn’t want to build the 918" so it looks like Porsche’s ‘Family Tree’ will soon develop a new ‘branch’.
In concept form the Porsche 918 Spyder has a total output of 718 BHP developed by it’s hybrid powering system composed from a 500 BHP V8 and a pair of electric motors.
