It seems like the Brits from Autocar are on a roll when it comes to comparison tests. In their latest Porsche 911 GT2 vs Corvette ZR1 video we get to see which of these supercars is faster in a drag race.
Porsche 911 GT2 specs : power comes from a 3.6-litre 6-cylinder boxer unit with twin turbochargers that is able to develop 530 hp at 6500 rpm and 680 Nm (505 ft lb) of torque between 2200 and 4500 rpm and the overall weight of the car is 3,175 lbs. The Porsche 911 GT2 is equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox and ceramic brakes as standard.
Corvette ZR1 specs : the supercharged 6.2-litre V8 provides 620 hp at 6500 rpm and 595 ft lb of torque at 4000 rpm. As far as transmission the Corvette ZR1 is fitted with a close-ratio 6-speed manual gearbox and a high-capacity clutch and the car weights 3350 lbs.
