The following video is the complete episode of ‘The Liver Run’ – if that title is more than confusing, then we will sum this 22 minutes footage up by saying it involves the London Metropolitan Police racing across the British Capital as the officers have only 35 minutes in which they have to cover 29 miles before delivering a liver from a donor to a patient.
The video is from May 1987, the Police cars are Rover SD1 models, and the route that was covered was from Stansted Airport, Essex, to Cromwell Hospital in Kensington, London.
