Pininfarina’s teasing game with the Cambiano Concept has come to a stop thanks to the Italian car magazine Quattroruote who showed us the car ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
The Cambiano looks stylish and sleek both inside and out, with simple yet powerful lines that project a true premium feel.
The car could be described as a 3-door coupe or part coupe and part sedan, as it features a single door on one side and suicide doors on the other side and its design is inspired from Pininfarina’s Lancia Florida II from 1957.
Some of its elements include LED strip headlights, a glass roof and a voluminous hood on the outside and a four seat interior equipped with leather seats, wood trim, ambient lighting and a digital instrument cluster.
The Pininfarina Cambiano Concept uses a range-extended electric drivetrain which includes four electric motors (80 HP / 60 kW – one on each wheel) and a small diesel engine that acts as a generator for the its batteries.
Through this setup, the Cambiano, which by the way tips the scale at 1,700 Kg, can spring from 0 to 100 Km/h in 4.2 seconds and can also hit a top speed of 275 Km/h (186 mph).
