The French car maker Peugeot has published a picture with the 208 T16 Pikes Peak in racing livery. On the outside, the racing car has been painted in Peugeot classic racing colors with Red Bull, Michelin and Total logos.
The car has a carbon fiber body and a special tubular steel frame chassis. Thanks to the sport suspension and the high performance brakes the car can run very fast.
Under the hood there is a twin-turbo 3.2 liter V6 unit that can output 875 horsepower. The resources are put to the ground via a six speed sequential gear box and an all wheel drive system. The sprint from stand still to 100 km/h is done in just 1.8 seconds.
Behind the wheels of the 208 T16 Pikes Peak will be Seabstien Loeb. He will tackle the 20 kilometers course at the Unlimited Class.
