The Tokyo car manufacturer revealed today details and images of their 2010 Subaru Legacy that will have its official introduction at the New York Auto Show in April. The new Legacy is now longer wider and higher comparing to its previous version with also more luggage room in the trunk. There are three types of motorisation available for the 2010 Subaru Legacy that range from the 170 horsepower in the Legacy 2.5i with 6-speed manual / CVT transmission to the 265 horsepower powerplant with 6-speed manual gearbox found in the 2.5GT version. German tuner BRABUS finished work on their latest custom version of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E Class. BRABUS used the 382 hp E500 as the starting point and by enlarging its 6.1-liter V8 engine the 2010 BRABUS Mercedes-Benz E Class is now producing 462 hp / 340 kW at 6,200 rpm and 615 Nm (453 lb-ft) of torque at 3,100 rpm. As for exterior elements, BRABUS fitted the E-Class with a new front apron that reduces lift and sport quarter panels, rocker panels for improved airflow as well as a rear apron that includes the two pairs of chrome-plated tailpipes. With its official debut today in Leipzif the Volkswagen Golf VI GTD seems to complete the hatchback range from VW. The Golf VI GTD is basically a diesel version of the GTI powered by the traditional 2.0 litre engine that in this case with its TDI technology develops 168 hp and and 350 Nm of torque between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm. As you can see the company has moved on from plug-in electric roadsters to developing plug-in electric sports sedans and we have to say they done a pretty good job. What is interesting is that with its European inspired styling the Tesla Model S doesn’t seem to strike you as an electrical vehicle all that much. Talking about performance the Tesla Model S takes 5,6 seconds to get from 0 to 60 mph (100 Km/h), can reach a top speed of 120 mpg (200 Km/h) and is usable for 300 miles (480 Km) on a single charge.
