1934 Ford 3-Window Coupe Hot Rod – SEMA 2009
Another project car to be showcased at SEMA this year is the 1934 Ford 3-Window Coupe Hot Rod developed by Ford Powertrain, Detroit Street Rods and Experi-metal team. The 1934 Ford 3-Window Coupe Hot Rod will use a 3.5-litre twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine that is expected to deliver 400 horsepower and 400 ft.-lb. of torque. Details with the revised Lexus LS 600h L MY2010 have been release today by the Japanese car maker. The hybrid system powering the 2010 Lexus LS 600h L uses a 5.0-litre V8, two powerful electric motors and a large-capacity 288-volt DC Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) battery pack. The total output that can be generated is 438 HP witch means the 2010 Lexus LS 600h L can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds and return an estimated EPA fuel consumption figure of 21 mpg. Wolf Racing Ford Focus RS
German tuning shop Wolf Racing released details with the company’s take on the Ford Focus RS. Besides receiving a series of design elements, like 20 inch wheels with a multi-part design that cost 399 Euros and decorative strips for 98 Euros, the Wolf Racing Ford Focus RS also comes with a long list of mechanical upgrades. For 1299 Euros the stock engine that developed 305 hp (224 kW) and 440 Nm of torque is now capable of unleashing 360 hp (265 kW) and 559 Nm of torque due to an optimized engine and turbo charger management. Ford confirms Geely as preferred bidder for Volvo
Ford announced today that the Chinese consortium Geely is its preferred bidder regarding the possible sale of Volvo Car Corporation. The Blue Oval also says that even though Geely is its preferred bidder, there are still discussions and negotiations to be made and no final decision has been taken. In the highly event that Volvo Cars does get sold to Geely then Ford will still maintain ties with the Swedish automobile manufacturer although it does not intend to retain a shareholding. In the video blow a guy driving a Subaru is filming the other cars involved in traffic. At one point he starts filming a red Dodge Viper that was kind of in a hurry changing lanes. After going through a tunnel in the fast lane, behind a truck he suddenly decides to change two lanes to the right only to ‘phisicly’ find out that that on that side traffic had stopped. Besides the customized Ford Mustang models, the Blue Oval will also bring modified versions of the 2010 Ford Taurus, 2010 Ford Fusion and 2010 Ford Transit Connect at the 2009 SEMA Show in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
