Skoda Fabia and Roomster GreenLine
The Czech manufacturer is introducing the eco-friendly Skoda Fabia and Roomster GreenLine variants, based on the facelift Fabia and Roomster models.
The Skoda Fabia and Roomster GreenLine received new technology that will reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions and also mark the introduction of a new engine option, the 75bhp 1.2 TDI CR DPF, with high-pressure direct injection, a start-stop system, energy recuperation and gear recommendation.
Audi behind Peugeot in Le Mans 24 Hours warm up
Audi has finished behind Peugeot in the last warm up session preceding the Le Mans 24 Hours race from next month.
The French manufacturer managed to start it’s Peugeot 908 HDi-FAP from pole position and ended the 1000 Km endurance race at Spa-Francorchamps by securing the first two position on the podium, while the McNish-Capello-Kristensen team and their Audi R15 TDI finished third.
Aston Martin V12 Vantage heading to US
The British automaker has confirmed that their Aston Martin V12 Vantage will be heading to US, or more specifically to the North and South American markets in an exclusive production run.
The Aston Martin V12 Vantage extracts power from a 6.0-litre engine that outputs 517 PS (380 kW) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 100 Km/h) in 4.2 seconds.
HAMANN BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo
German tuning specialist, HAMMAN has unveiled their individualisation package for the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo which has also received a boost in terms of performance.
Starting with the exterior the HAMANN BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo is now featuring a more aggressive aspect thanks to the new front spoiler lip, side skirts, the small rear wing, a new rear apron, the new stainless steel exhaust system with 90 mm in diameter pipes, and the company’s range of 22 inch alloy wheels.
2010 Porsche 911 Carrera aerokit
The Stuttgart based sports car manufacturer is launching new equipment for individual retrofitting, among which the new aerokit that can fit the 2010 Porsche 911 Carrera.
First on the ‘tequipment’ list are the 19 inch Sport Classic wheels featuring the 5-spoke design with the rim star painted in black and for which production will be limited to only 250 units. These new rims come wrapped in new tires (235/35 ZR 19 – front and 305/30 ZR 19 – rear) and pricing per set is 5,569 Euros.
Volkswagen Golf GTI Adidas
In a statement released over the weekend the German company has announced that besides the 2011 Volkswagen Polo GTI it will also premiere the Volkswagen Golf GTI Adidas edition at this year’s Worthersee gathering in Austria.
Production for the Volkswagen Golf GTI Adidas edition will be limited to 4410 units and powering the car will be the 210 HP (155 kW) Golf GTI engine that enables a top speed of 240 Km/h.
2011 Volkswagen Polo GTI
The German automaker has just released initial details for the facelift version 2011 Volkswagen Polo GTI.
Featuring the company’s improved twincharged 1.4-litre TSI engine and a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox as standard, the 2011 Volkswagen Polo GTI is now pushing 190 PS (132 kW) and is able to cover 100 Km on just 5.9 litres of fuel.
New Mercedes 3.5-liter V6 and 4.6-liter V8 engines
Daimler is introducing its new range of V6 and V8 Mercedes engines that are more fuel efficient yet more powerful.
The new 3.5-liter V6 Mercedes engine delivers 306 HP (225 kW) and 370 Nm of torque (20 Nm more than before) while fuel efficiency has been improved to 7.6-litres per 100 Km, which is 24 percent less than its predecessor.

2012 Ferrari Enzo info
In a recent interview, the Italian Firm’s boss Amedeo Felisa has pointed that the forthcoming 2012 Ferrari Enzo will be powered by a V8 engine or a twin turbocharged V6 with direct fuel injection.
Felisa said that a 6-cylinder engine is not part of their plans for the 2012 Ferrari Enzo as customers still prefer larger engines in their supercars.
