Caterham Seven Roadsport Monaco price
Pricing for the special edition Caterham Seven Roadsport Monacohas just been announced.
Powered by a 1.6-litre Ford engine the Caterham Seven Roadsport Monaco is capable of hitting a top speed of 112 mph and the car’s power to weight ratio is of 227 bhp per ton. The Caterham Seven Roadsport Monaco features a chassis that weights only 500 Kg and thanks to its five-speed gearbox the British sports car go from still to 60 mph in under 6.0 seconds.
Hartge BMW X1
Traditional BMW tuner, Hartge has launched their upgrade program for both the 1.8 and 2.0-litre versions BMW X1.
The Hartge BMW X1 18d received a 36 HP increase from 143 hp (105 kW) to 179 hp (126 kW) and 350 Nm (lb-ft 258) of torque which enables the manual sDrive18d version to sprint from nought to 100 Km/h in 8.1 seconds (1.5 seconds quicker than the stock version) and hit a maximum speed of 217 Km (17 Km/h over the standard model).
2011 Chevrolet Aveo
Photos and details with the production version 2011 Chevrolet Aveo which will be unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show have just been published.
The 2011 Chevrolet Aveo will hit the market next year at the end of summer, and the engine lineup will include the new 1.3-litre diesel with two levels of output : 75 HP and 95 HP, and which will come mated with Start Stop technology.
Audi S5 Cabrio by HS Motorsport
Another German tuner enhancing another German car, this time we’re talking about the Audi S5 Cabrio by HS Motorsport.
The main highlight is as you probably expected, the increased engine performance, which has been raised from 333 HP and 440 Nm of torque to 375 HP and 525 Nm. This means the Audi S5 Cabrio by HS Motorsport can now reach a top speed of 290 Km/h and even though it was not specified, an ECU remap was responsible for the additional horses.
MR Car Design BMW 335i
Erftstadt based tuner, MR Car Desgin has taken the BMW 335i to a new level as far as performance, by stacking an additional 100 HP under the bonnet.
This means that instead of 306 HP the MR Car Design BMW 335i is now pushing 406 HP and 530 Nm of torque, performance achieved through upgraded elements like a new exhaust system (850 Euro), an XXL intercooler (899 Euro) and an optimised engine software (849 Euro).
2011 Mercedes S 350 BlueEFFICIENCY and S 350 BlueTEC
Besides the new 4.7-litre V8 unit producing , the German automaker is introducing two new engines that will help the 2011 Mercedes S Class achieve better fuel consumption figures.
The first is a normally aspirated 3.5-litre V6 offered on the 2011 Mercedes S 350 BlueEFFICIENCY which delivers 272 HP (200 kW) and 370 Nm of torque, which enables the luxury saloon to cover 100 Km on just 7.6 liters of fuel, with CO2 emissions down from 234 to 177 grams per Km.
2011 Mercedes CL in depth
Daimler has released in depth details and new photos with the facelift version 2011 Mercedes CL. Unveiled at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, the 2011 Mercedes CL facelift will be showcased at the Paris Motor Show and besides a refreshed exterior the car will also make use of a new range of motorisations (turbocharged and with direct fuel injection) which are with an average of 12.5 percent more powerful and with around 24 percent more efficient.
The new fuel injection technology named BlueDirect, that is being used on the 4.7-litre V8 enables the 2011 Mercedes CL to deliver 435 HP and 700 Nm of torque, so not only it is more powerful than the previous normally aspirated 5.5-litre V8, but it also achieves fuel consumption figures of 9.5-litres per 100 Km. CO2 emissions have also dropped from 228 to 224 grams per Km.
Suzuki Swift review video
Autocar has shot a review video with the new Suzuki Swift, pointing out some of the differences and improvements when compared to the previous generation.
The facelift version Suzuki Swift (1.2 SZ4 as tested in this review video) comes equipped with a 4-cylinder petrol engine packing 93 bhp @ 6,000 rpm and 87 lb-ft of torque @ 4,800 rpm.
MANSORY Maserati GranTurismo
It looks like Swiss tuner MANSORY is not going to miss any major auto saloon without premiering an exclusive tuning program. This time, at the Paris Motor Show, they will showcase the customized version Maserati GranTurismo and GranTurismo S.
As you can see the MANSORY Maserati GranTurismo comes with an extensive list on enhancements at both the exterior and the interior, some of which include a redesigned front spoiler with a carbon spoiler lip, a carbon fiber radiator grille, additional air inlets and outlets, deeper door sills, a carbon fiber diffuser, plus a new exhaust system that also makes use of carbon fiber at the exhaust tips.
Opel GTC Paris
The Opel GTC Paris has been unveiled with images and details of the Astra based concept which will make its first public appearance at the Paris Motor Show at the end of this month.
The production version Opel GTC Paris will be called the Opel Astra GTC and this 3-door hatchback measuring 4.46 m in length, will extract power from a 4-cylinder 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with Start/ Stop technology and which will be linked to a 6-speed manual transmission.
