2011 Peugeot 908 LMP1
Peugeot has unveiled the new 908 LMP1 racer which represents this 2011 challenger for the Le Mans 24 Hours.
The 2011 Peugeot 908 LMP1 is obviously linked to the old 908 which won the Le Mans back in 2009, but instead of using a V12, the new car is fitted with a 3.7-litre turbocharged V8 diesel which now sits at a 90 degrees angle, compared with 100 degrees in the case of the V12.

Renault Clio and Megane XV de France
More special editions from Renault, who this time is introducing the ‘XV de France’ models based on the Clio and Megane.
The Renault Clio and Megane XV de France will be available in coupe, hatch and estate body styles, with the Clio beeing based on the Dynamique TomTom trim level, while the Megane derives from the Dynamique.

900000th Mazda MX5 Sets New World Record
The Japanese automaker keeps on updating their Guinness world record set with the production of the Mazda MX5, since 700,000, 800,000, and now 900,000 exemplars have rolled of the assembly line during the model’s 21 years and 10 months of existence.
The Mazda MX5 was initially acknowledged as a record holder in May 2000, when the company’s two seater sports car has reached 531,890 units.

Volkswagen Tiguan Facelift Photo
We’ve already seen the 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan facelift thanks to a leaked brochure that surfaced online a few months ago, but this next photo is much clearer, and it appeared ‘by mistake’ on the automaker’s German site.
As the image shows the 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan facelift looks sharper, and is alligned with the rest of the automaker’s models in terms of design, with the main changes applied to the front bumper, the grille and the headlights which now integrate LEDs.

With all the hype surrounding the automotive industry related ads for the 2011 Super Bowl, we thought this next ‘commercial’ video would fit right in.
This is actually a Ford F 150 parody commercial, and it was probably inspired by the fact the F 150 is once again the best selling pickup truck in America, or maybe the guy is just another satisfied customer, and this is his way of appreciating Blue Oval’s work.

Mercedes GLC details
More details regarding the German automaker who is working on developing the Mercedes GLC, which will enter the small premium SUV segment as a rival for the BMW X1.
Expected to debut in 2013 the Mercedes GLC will use the automaker’s new MFA (modular front architecture), the same platform on which the upcoming A Class anf B Class models will be based on, and even though no official statements have been made yet, Autocar thinks the new SUV will share some of its design cues with the BlueZero concept.

We can only imagine how the Autobahn looks during the night, as more and more videos show up on YouTube, revealing tuned or stock supercars doing well over 300 kmph.
We’ve just seen the footage with a G Power tuned BMW M5 Touring hitting 359 kmph (224 mph) on Germany’s infamous Autobahn, now it would only seem appropriate to see what an adrenaline chaser inside a Bugatti Veyron would do.

The automotive related commercials for this year’s Super Bowl keep rolling in, and this time come from Hyundai who will promote the 2011 Elantra and Sonata Hybrid through a total of three ads.
These Hyundai Elantra and Sonata Hybrid ads urge consumers to ‘snap out of it’ for they have been hypnotised and misguided for too long into believing that compact cars had to be boring, with limited innovation and with cramped interiors.

Chevrolet Camaro Super Bowl Commercial Video
More Super Bowl ads, this time coming from GM who wants to take the cake at this year’s game by showing a total of five commercials, 30 seconds each, which will promote the Camaro, Cruze Eco, Camaro, Silverado HD and the Volt.
This next footage is the Chevrolet Camaro Super Bowl commercial, and it features the automakers muscle car turning into a Bumblebee. We also get to see the Chevrolet Camao do a massive donut at the end so hit play and see what it’s all about.
