MTM Audi A7
MTM is among the first to offer an upgrade program for the new Audi A7, although the German tuner has kept things simple, but with the intention of creating a more driver-focused executive racer.
At the exterior the MTM Audi A7 received the company’s Bimoto 9-spoke design alloy wheels, and a new diffuser which accommodates the 4-tailpipe exhaust system.
Infiniti Etheria Teaser
Infiniti has published two teaser images with the Infiniti Etheria Concept which will be have its world premiere at the 81st edition Geneva Motor Show next month.
Even though the official press release did not specify it, the Infiniti Etheria moniker was left in the image file names by accident.
2012 PEUGEOT 308
The 2012 PEUGEOT 308 has just been unveiled by the French automaker, through a series of photos and details which underline the aesthetic and mechanical improvements featured by this facelift version.
The 2012 PEUGEOT 308 facelift will hit the British market in March, and the car which will be available in three body styles – hatchback, CC and SW will be offered with four trim levels named Access, SR, Active and Allure.
LUMMA CLR 558 GT 2011 Porsche Cayenne
Lumma Design is among the tuners who will present their latest creations at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Their new individualization program addresses the 2011 Porsche Cayenne, and which received a new body kit and increased power, under the LUMMA CLR 558 GT name.
Besides the ‘forward-looking’ body kit which includes redesigned front and rear bumpers, which now look more aggressive, new side sills, and various carbon elements, the LUMMA CLR 558 GT 2011 Porsche Cayenne features a 22 inch alloys wrapped in high performance tires, and a three tailpipe exhaust system.
Citroen E 3POD Antistatic electric tripod
The French automaker has sponsored the EV Design Challenge at the Royal College of Art in London, where student’s had to conceive an ultra compact model that “could establish a unique Citroen e-vehicle aesthetic for the future”.
The best overall design was Heikki Juvonen’s Citroen E 3POD Antistatic electric tripod which is a single seater vehicle features two small wheels at the front and a large third wheel with an innovative hub-less design.
SsangYong SUT 1
The South Korean automaker announced it will debut the SsangYong SUT 1 concept at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
According to their description the SsangYong SUT 1 is a traditional pickup truck with a more contemporary look, measuring 4,985 m in length, 1,910 m in width, 1,755 m in height, and with a wheelbase of 3,060 m.
Eminem in Chrysler 200 Super Bowl Ad
Chrysler is among the numerous automakers trying to draw attention to their products through ads especially created to air during the 2011 Super Bowl.
Their approach was to advertise the new Chrysler 200 through an exceptionally long (2 minutes) commercial which talks about Detroit, and which also features Eminem.
2011 EDAG Light Car Sharing Concept
Edag’s Light Car which was seen at the Geneva Motor Show in 2009 has further evolved into the Light Car Sharing, a new concept which will be seen at the 81st edition Geneva Show in March, and which this time is addressing customer mobility ‘as and when he needs it’.
The 2011 EDAG Light Car Sharing Concept features a composite body, can accommodate 6 passengers, and is powered by an electric system composed from lithium-ion batteries located under the floor. This zero emission powertrain enables the 2011 EDAG Light Car Sharing Concept to cover around 100 Km before having toe recharge, and the maximum speed that can be reached it 100 Km.
Mercedes SLS Roadster in Super Bowl Ad
Daimler’s approach to this year’s Super Bowl is an ad which reveals the company’s latest models, including the Mercedes SLS Roadster.
The Mercedes Super Bowl ad for 2011 is also presenting the new Mercedes C Class Coupe, the new SLK and CLS, models which can be viewed by around 90 million Americans watching the ‘big game’.
Top Gear Season 16 Episode 3
