ABT Audi A7
A second German tuner to approach the Audi A7, besides MTM is ABT Sportsline, who will present their upgrade program for the new 4-door coupe at the 81st edition Geneva Motor Show in March.
The ABT Audi A7 has received a series of exterior elements that make it appear even more dynamic, and these include a new front spoiler, side skirts, a redesigned rear skirt a four-pipe exhaust unit plus custom alloys available in sizes 19 to 21 inch.
Opel Zafira Tourer Concept teaser
As the opening day for the 81st edition of the Geneva Motor Show is getting closer and closer, Opel decided to offer a sneak if their Zafira Tourer Concept by releasing a couple of teaser photos.
With a front fascia that reminds of the Ampera, the Opel Zafira Tourer Concept is a ‘lounge on wheels’ based on the automaker’s description, and even though we cannot see the interior yet, we are being told the car will bring a new level of sophistication and comfort.
2012 Shelby GT350 Convertible
Shelby is expanding the 2012 Shelby GT350 lineup by adding a convertible version (the first since 1970) and two new body colours (Race Red and Kona Blue).
Under its skin the 2012 Shelby GT350 Convertible remains the same as the hard top model, meaning it will offer customers the ability of choosing between a normally aspirated 430 HP engine , or 525 HP and 624 HP supercharged units.
2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesman
At this year’s Chicago Auto Show, Chrysler has introduced the Tradesman package for the 2011 Dodge Ram 1500.
The 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesman is based on the ST equipment grade, and comes fitted with a 5.7-litre V8 generating 390 HP and 370 lb-ft of torque along with a 5-speed automatic gearbox, which is in part responsible for the 20 mpg highway fuel consumption figure.
2012 Acura TL unveiled
The 2012 Acura TL was just unveiled in Chicago, and the new sedan features ‘fresh looks, improved performance and upgraded technology’.
The engines powering the 2012 Acura TL are the same as before, meaning a 3.5-litre and a 3.7-litre V6, but this time they come mated to a new Sequential SportShift 6-speed automatic transmission which helps lower fuel consumption.
2012 Hyundai Genesis
The second highlight at the Korean automaker’s stand in Chicago these days is the 2012 Hyundai Genesis which received a series of updates and an all new engine.
This new 5.0-litre V8 plant with direct fuel injection that we’re talking about will be offered on the 2012 Hyundai Genesis R-Spec which will be able to output 429 HP @ 6,400 rpm and 376 lb-ft of torque @ 5,000 rpm.
RMR Hyundai Veloster Rally Car
The Rhys Millen Racing has unveiled the the RMR Hyundai Veloster rally car at the Chicago Auto Show today.
Stripped down from all the ‘unnecessary’ equipment the RMR Hyundai Veloster rally car is much lighter than the road going version, tipping the scale at 2,656 lbs, and instead of a fancy audio system and air conditioning, the 3-door coupe features an eight-point roll cage and a single sports seat from Sparco.
2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
Preliminary details and hi-res photos with the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, the new muscle car king which debuted at the Chicago Auto Show today have just been revealed by GM.
The automaker claims the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is the fastest and most advanced Camaro ever built, featuring a 6.2-litre LSA V8 engine under its skin, capable of unleashing 550 HP and 550 lb-ft due to supercharging and intercooling.
Suzuki Swift S
A sporty version Suzuki Swift which will be called the S Concept, will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
As these initial teaser photos show, the Suzuki Swift S features a series of new elements like a modified front section, and a rear roof spoiler, and even though it has not been confirmed yet, this ‘premium sport compact with uncompromised performance’ is most probably going to get the green light for production.
MANSORY 2011 Porsche Cayenne
Another extreme tuning program coming from the Swiss at MANSORY who seems like they had an order from the Russian mafia for a custom 2011 Porsche Cayenne.
The exterior of the MANSORY 2011 Porsche Cayenne is overwhelmed with carbon fiber, from the front and rear spoilers, headlights and taillights surrounds, to the engine bonnet, side sills, diffuser, spoiler, roof spoiler, mirror casings and various other ornaments.
