Pogea Racing Audi A7
Ingolstad’s four-door coupe has arrived in the hands of Pogea Racing, a German tuning company who are now offering numerous power upgrades, and various enhancements in terms of appearance.
The Pogea Racing Audi A7 conversion is called ‘Seven Sins’ and its features a pair of side decals, 20 inch Moz Stroke alloys wrapped in Continental Sport Contact 3 performance tires, a new stainless steel exhaust system with larger tailpipes, and better brakes from Brembo.
Bentley Supersports Convertible World Speed Record on Ice
Bentley has set a new world speed record on ice, with a Continental Supersports Convertible driven by Finland’s four times WRC champion, Juha Kankkunen, on the frozen waters of the Baltic Sea.
The 6.0-litre 12-cylinder Bentley Supersports Convertible equipped with four-wheel driven by Kankkunen ran on bio-fuel, and managed to reach an impressive speed of 205,48 mph (330,695 Km/h), braking his previous world ice speed record, set in 2007 (199.83 mph / 321.6 Km/h).
Audi A8 L Security W12
We’ve seen the BMW 7 Series High Security and the armored Jaguar XJ Sentinel, now its time for the Ingolstadt based automaker to introduce their reinforced Audi A8 L Security W12, designed to offer the maximum level of security and able to resists ballistic attacks.
Based on the long-wheelbase version measuring 5,27 meters in length, the Audi A8 L Security W12 will initially be available with the company’s 6.3-litre W12 plant developing 500 horsepower, while sometime in 2012 a second powering option, (most probably a diesel) will be launched.
2012 Lincoln MKT Town Car and Limousine
The 2012 Lincoln MKT Town Car Livery and Limousine models have made their appearance at the International Limousine, Charter and Tour Show (LCT) in Las Vegas yesterday, with the new chauffeur-dedicated versions featuring a higher roofline, additional leg room, redesigned seats and increased luggage space.
Besides being more comfortable, the 2012 Lincoln MKT Town Car Livery and Limousine will also offer a productive work environment for both the driver and passengers, thanks to new technologies like SYNC, hands-free navigation, standard Wi-Fi capability and a rear view camera system.
Toyota iQ EV
The Japanese automaker will premiere the Toyota iQ EV prototype at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, which is an iQ based electric model…duh, using Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive powertrain.
The Toyota iQ EV is part of the automaker’s short-range, sustainable mobility offensive, and uses a newly developed, flat and compact lithium-ion battery pack in order to have a 65 miles autonomy before having to recharge.
Dacia Popster info
The French from Automobile Magazine have published new details regarding the upcoming Dacia models which will enter the market by 2012.
The current lineup includes a wagon, a 4×4 and two sedans and the next models will be a compact minivan (codenamed the J92) and a small utilitarian (codenamed K67).
Porsche Boxster E
The German automaker has discreetly introduced the Porsche Boxster E, an electric prototype which will begin testing in mid 2011, in order to accumulate data as far as practicality and electric infrastructure.
The Porsche Boxster E uses two electric motors which develop a combined 180 kW plus a 29 kWh battery, and in terms of performance, the car is comparable with the Boxter S.
Wheelsandmore Ferrari 458 Italia
German tuner Wheelsandmore has launched a new upgrade package which addresses the Ferrari 458 Italia in terms of both styling and performance.
Starting with performance, the Wheelsandmore Ferrari 458 Italia has been dialed up to 620 HP (stock version packs 570 HP) and is able to develop an additional 100 lb-ft of torque, thanks to a weight optimized, hand made exhaust system which features valve flaps and manifolds. The exhaust has also been fitted with heat protection covers and as a result, the Wheelsandmore Ferrari 458 Italia is now able to accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 3,32 seconds.
Infiniti ETHEREA
Inifiniti has officially named its compact luxury concept which will be unveiled during the 81st edition Geneva Motor Show.
Based on the previous teasers released by the Japanese automaker, we speculated the car will be called the Etheria, as that was the naming of the image files. We don’t know if the automaker change its mind or it was some kind of mistake, but the actual name is Infiniti ETHEREA.
BMW Vision ConnectedDrive video
The first official video offering a short presentation of the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive has also been published by the Bavarian automaker, who is going to exhibit their stunning two seater roadster at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The BMW Vision ConnectedDrive is a study which demonstrates current and future methods of mobile networking, with one of its interior gadgets including a new generation three dimensional multimedia system.
