Morgan 3 Wheeler – Photos and Details
The first official photos and details with the Morgan 3 Wheeler are finally here, and if you are a bit confuser about the 3 wheel configuration, well the British company said it makes it look like a fighter plane, hence the exterior paint and military like graphics also present on its body.
The Morgan 3 Wheeler is powered by a fuel-injected V-Twin motorcycle engine which produces 115 horses and is mated to a Mazda sourced 5-speed transmission and considering that the main purpose of this bullet shaped car is to make open air driving fun, no actual performance or consumption figures have been mentioned.
Opel Zafira Tourer Concept revealed
Opel has revealed the Zafira Tourer Concept with five days before the Geneva Motor Show will open its doors to members of the press.
As described by the automaker the Opel Zafira Tourer Concept is a ‘lounge on wheels’ and previews the next generation monocab, with a front fascia that resembles the Ampera, along with sleek fluent lines, complemented by elements like LED headlights, 20 inch alloys, an elongated windscreen, and two large exhaust pipes integrated into the rear bumper.
Ferrari FF Video
The Prancing Horse is finally treating us with the first proper video featuring the new Ferrari FF . As you will notice, the video underlines a series of characteristics never seen in a Ferrari before. And as the Ferrari FF is the automaker’s first four-wheel-drive model, it means it can challenge snow and water covered surfaces more safely.
Of-course Ferrari FF’s true potential will still be unleashed on the tarmac, where the 6.3-litre V12 unit from under its skin rated at 660 HP and 683 Nm, promises an acceleration time of 3.7 seconds from nought to 62 mph, and a top speed of 335 Km/h.
Video: Chevy Camaro on 30 inch wheels
According to the video’s YouTube title, this 2010 Chevy Camaro sitting on massive 30 inch wheels belongs to a female, and we might add that from now on, going anywhere in this car without being noticed will be something really hard. And that is good, because we assume that was the idea in the first place.
There are a couple of drawbacks though, like the fact that this 2010 Chevy Camaro will now require two lanes in order to make a U turn. And also the guy in the video says their project is completed, but by looking at the car’s dashboard, it is easy to understand that there is ‘a bit’ of work left.
2013 Mercedes S Class Spy Video
Sweden seems to be a popular place among automakers, who prefer the country’s snowy environment for testing many of their upcoming models.
This is also the case with the 2013 Mercedes S Class which was spied recently doing some road testing. The car is in that stage were heavy camouflage covers all of its exterior, so the only aspect that caught our attention in terms of design are the new headlights which seem like they will feature new LEDs.
Spiker Sells Sportscar Business
Spiker Cars, the current owner of Saab announced that it is selling its luxury sportscar business to CPP Global Holdings Ltd, a premium coachbuilding company from UK.
The British concern which has collaborated with the Swedish sportscar maker in providing chassis and body panels since the brand was re-introduced in 2000, has already paid 15 million Euros for Spiker, and will continue to pay a total of 17 million during the course of the next six years.
Saab 9-5 SportCombi video
The first official Saab 9-5 SportCombi video has been published on the Swedish automaker’s YouTube channel.
This new model which will be showcased in Geneva starting from March 3rd will arrive in dealerships in September, with improved versions of the previous 1.6-, 2.0-litre turbos and the 2.0 TTiD engine which is also available on the sedan, and which is mated with the XWD all-wheel-drive system.
Infiniti M35h Price
The Infiniti M35h price was announced, as the company’s hybrid saloon goes on sale at dealerships across UK starting from April.
With a total of 364 PS (359 bhp) generated by its 302 bhp 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine linked to the 57 bhp electric motor, the Infiniti M35h is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 5.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 mph. The car uses a two-clutch layout and in terms of consumption, it is able to return 40.4 mpg (combined cycle), with a touring range of around 750 miles, and has CO2 emissions of 162 grams per Km.
MINI Rocketman Video
After the release of official details and photos with the MINI Rocketman, we can now get a more detailed view at the automaker’s new concept, both inside and out, thanks to this first video that appeared on YouTube.
The MINI Rocketman video underlines some of the car’s most interesting features which include its carbon fiber spaceframe underbody visible at the exterior, the slipt tailgate, the unique alloys which also make use of carbon, plus the special attention paid to the use of interior and exterior lighting.
Porsche Semper Vivus Hybrid
Porsche has just announced that their “sensational world premiere in Geneva” next week will be called the Sempre Vivus, a full hybrid reborn 111 years after its first introduction.
Translated from Latin, Semper Vivus means ‘always alive’ and its origins date back to 1900 when Ferdinand Porsche, founding father of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, has developed the principle of the serial hybrid drive.
