Wraps came off the Nissan Esflow Concept today in Geneva, so here are some more photos and details with the automaker’s new electric sports car.

With its powertrain composed from two electric motors of unspecified power, positioned above the rear wheels and a lithium-ion battery pack, the Nissan Esflow Concept is reportedly expected to accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h in under 5.0 seconds and offer a driving range of 240 Km on a single charge.

We are stepping way from all the highlights at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show for a moment, in order to talk about the latest ECU remap program developed by Superchips for the RenaultSport Megane 250.

Design for any Megane 250 model sold from 2010 onwards, this new ECU upgrade will enable an output increase of 49 bhp and 66 Nm of torque, which basically means a total of 295 bhp and over 370 Nm of torque between 2,800 and 6,250 rpm.

The British automaker’s Motorsport division has taken the Evora GT4 Endurance and evolved it into the Enduro GT Concept, which according to them, will be the base point from which the GT2/GTE homologated cars (for FIA and ACO) will be built.

Powered by a mid-mounted 4-litre DOCH V6 VVT-i engine, naturally aspirated and tuned by Cosworth, the Lotus Evora Enduro GT Concept develops 440 bhp @ 7,000 rpm and 460 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm. A sequential 6-speed transmission sends power to the rear wheels, while other motorsport specific components fitted on the Lotus Evora Enduro GT Concept include a twin plate sinted clutch, a competition thermally coated exhaust manifold and a performance air filter.

The French from Peugeot have unveiled the 908 LMP1 racer in Paris a month ago, and now they have launched diesel-hybrid version in Geneva dubbed the 908 HYbrid4.

With power provided by a 3.7-litre V8 HDi FAP diesel producing 550 HP and a hybrid system which offers an additional 80 HP (60 kW), the Peugeot 908 HYbrid4 spins the rear wheels via a sequential, hydraulic sixspeed transmission ad benefits from an energy recuperation system which delivers up to 500 kJ between two braking phases to the car’s lithium ion batteries.

Infinity has officially unveiled the ETHEREA Concept in Geneva today, and has also published additional photos and details for those who could not attend at the 81st edition of the International Auto Show in Switzerland.

For those who are a little confused by its shape, the Japanese automaker ‘clarifies’ it all for us. It is a compact sedan, with hatchback, crossover and coupe like features which extracts power from a 2.5-litre 5-cylinder petrol engine and sends it to the front wheels.

Independent car manufacturer Wisemann has presented a two-seater sports car concept at thi 81st Geneva Motor Show, which according to them, has been designed for maximum driving enjoyment.

Considering that form follows function we will not say anything about its design, because what matters is what you feel when you are behind the wheel right? So the Wiesmann Spyder Concept is ultra light (below 1,000 Kg) accelerates from nought to 62 mph (0 to 100 Km/h) in less then 4 seconds, and promises a top speed of around 290 Km/h. What more do you need?

The Gumpert Tornante by Touring has been unveiled in Geneva, and according to its manufacturer, the car combines supercar performance with improved comfort and ventilation, reduced noise and increased luggage space.

The Gumpert Tornante by Touring measures 4,475 m in length, 1,971 m in width, 1,215 m in height and has a wheelbase of 2,7 meters. Its kerb weight is between 1,300 and 1,400 Kg, depending on equipment, and power is provided by a biturbo V8 engine sitting at a 90 degrees angle, which develops 700 HP (515 kW) @ 6,500 rpm and 663.7-lb-ft of torque @ 4,000 rpm.

The Land Rover Range e has been introduced today in Geneva, and the car represents a fully capable 4WD plug-in hybrid diesel which promises CO2 emissions of just 89 grams per Km.

Powered by a 3.0-litre TDV6 engine backed by an electric motor which links to a battery pack, the Land Rover Range e Hybrid spins all four wheels with the help of a 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox. Open operating in full electric mode the Land Rover Range e Hybrid is able to cover more the 20 miles (32 Km), and when the car’s full powertrain is in use, the British SUV can return 85 mpg (3.36 litres/Km).

As the Geneva Motor Show has officially opened its doors to members of the press, Subaru released more details regarding the BOXER Sports Car Architecture which against all odds points at the automaker’s upcoming rear wheel drive sports car that will extract power from a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder Horizontally-Opposed Boxer engine.

This future model is part of Subaru’s collaboration with Toyota, and the idea of a front engine and RDW layout should not come as a surprise, as it has already been used in the Subaru P-1, the company’s first prototype passenger car.
