2012 Audi A6 Commercial
One of the first commercial videos promoting the 2012 Audi A6 is called ‘Manipulation’ and it underlines the automaker’s ability of modeling the new sedan’s lightweight structure. Of course it is not as easy as creating shapes out of play doh but you get the picture.
The 2012 Audi A6 comes with an aluminium hybrid body and high-tech steels which means this new generation is lighter and stiffer that the previous version, not to mention safer and more fuel efficient. There is also of course the car’s design which will ‘manipulate’ consumers into buying the 2012 A6.
2012 Saab 93 price
The Swedish automaker announced the 2012 Saab 93 price today, with the Saloon, Estate and Convertible availability across the UK dealer network starting from next month.
The 2012 Saab 93 range comes with discreetly refreshed exterior styling, a revised interior which according to the company, ‘adds more styling’, plus two new petrol turbo engines which require less fuel and emit less CO2.
Available in two equipment grades (SE and Aero) the 2012 Saab 93will be offered with additional features as standard, and these include alloy wheels, leather interior, heated front seats, park assist, Bluetooth phone integration, ESP, 6 airbags, auto dim mirrors, electric exterior mirrors and rains sensing wipers.
Video: Porsche 911 GT2 RS reaches the US
The Porsche 911 GT2 RS has reached the North American shores lath month, when the first 20 customers had taken delivery of their new sports car at the El Toro Air Station in Irvine California at a special event prepared by the German manufacturer.
The new owners got a chance to familiarize themselves with their 612 HP acquisition, and during the event, Andreas Preuninger, Manager of High Performance Cars of Porsche gave us a series of details from during the car’s development process (internally known as ‘the beast’).
Inden Design Mercedes S500
German tuner Inden Design has prepared a tuning program for the W221 series Mercedes S500, which brings the luxury saloon closer to the S65 AMG in terms of both appearance and performance.
At the exterior the Inden Design Mercedes S500 received a modified front bumper, new side sills and a rear diffuser together with daytime running lights, retouched taillights and a set of 20 inch multispoke design alloys wrapped in tires size 265/30-20 front and 275/30-20 rear.
The Inden Design Mercedes S500 also comes with a series of chrome parts coated in matte charcoal gray in order to match the matte gray body finish, plus a 50 mm lowered suspension.
2012 Mercedes A Class sketch
A sketch of the next generation 2012 Mercedes A Class has started to circulate across the web, with some sources daring to say this image is official. We cannot confirm that, but judging from the looks of the car, it could very well be true.
This upcoming 2012 Mercedes A Class looks way more dynamic than the ongoing model, as if it will compete in the sports coupe segment, due to a series of design elements that are linked to the F800 concept. You can notice the grille and the headlights which are in-line with the automaker’s current design philosophy, and hopefully Mercedes will release more details and photos with the 2012 A Class, before its official debut at the Shanghai Motor Show which will run from April 20 to 28.
Audi R8 Hyper Black Edition by Anderson Germany
We have photos and details with yet another customisation program for the Audi R8 coming from Anderson Germany who this time has baptised its creation the Hyper Black Edition.
The name is naturally reflected by the all black exterior appearance which has also been enhanced with a series of elements that include a carbon front spoiler lip, rear spoiler, diffuser and mirror casings, along with tined windows, darkened taillights and carbon coated 19 inch alloys.
Hyundai iLoad
Korean automaker Hyundai announced its presence at UK’s Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham (April 12 to 14, 2011) where it will showcase two version of their iLoad van for the first time. These are the Hyundai iLoad Panel and Crew which will be joined by a Police conversion of the iLoad, provided by Cambridgeshire Constabulary.
The new Hyundai iLoad is available with a euro 5 compliant engine which is now 10.4 percent more fuel efficient, and emits with 8.4 percent less CO2, and for the 2.5CRDi Classic Panel version pricing starts at 13,840 GBP.
Video: BMW i8 Hybrid Sports Car spied
BMW has recently introduced the ‘i’ sub-brand which according to the Bavarian automaker, will be reserved for hybrids, rage extended and full electric models. The first model that will be featuring the ‘i’ badge will be the BMW i8, a plug-in hybrid sports car which has recently appeared in a series of spy videos taken during winter testing in Northern Europe.
According to various sources the BMW i8 hybrid sports car will be powered by a small gasoline engine linked with two electric motors, while a 6-speed double clutch transmission will be responsible for putting spinning the wheels.
2012 BMW 6 Series Coupe Photos and Details
BMW has unveiled the production version 2012 BMW 6 Series Coupe which was first seen as a concept at the Paris Motor Show back in September.
This is the third generation model, and as you can see the production trim is almost identical to the concept, which by the way was designed by Adrian van Hooydonk, BMW’s new head of design who followed Chris Bangle’s departure.
2012 Chevrolet Captiva Sport
GM is addressing the growing demand for compact crossovers by introducing the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva Sport which will become available to customers in the U.S. in the fourth quarter of 2011.
The two engine options offered on the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva Sport are a 2.4-litre direct injected 4-cylinder and a 3.0-litre direct injected V6, each backed by a 6-speed automatic gearbox, developing 182 HP (136 kW) and 233 Nm of torque and 264 HP (197 kW) and 301 Nm of torque respectively.
