Video: 2012 BMW M5 F10M preview
BMW continues to play with our feelings as it released a new video with the partially camouflaged 2012 BMW M5 F10M prototype being put through its paces during winter tests.
We can’t quite distinguish what the German speaking guy is saying, but nevertheless is still nice to see parts of the new M5’s interior, as well as hear its exhaust note. We can also see that car’s traction control system is working well on snow.

2011 Lexus LX 570 JTGrey Racing
Toyota has recently published a single photo with the 2011 Lexus LX 570 JTGrey Racing truck in which Jeo Becal will try to conquer this year’s SCORE Stock Full Championship.
This new iteration is certainly not suitable for ‘soccer moms’ anymore as the the Japanese automaker has adapted the LX 570 so it can tackle desert dunes and rugged terrains. Unfortunately for us Toyota does not mention the exact modifications that were performed, but apart from the obvious raised suspension, enhanced lighting system and new set of tires we suspect a roll cage, racing seats, an adapted fuel tank and upgraded brakes.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS SE Rumor
Here is a new rumor to which we tend to give credibility considering the number of special edition models that have been rolled out by Porsche lately.
According to TeamSpeed the German automaker is planning to ‘expand’ its 911 GT RS lineup by launching yet another special edition, which will use a 4.0-litre flat six engine instead of a 3.8-litre in order to produce an extra 50 horses, meaning that total output will be 500 HP. Various other sites even mentioning that this 4.0-litre version will use a new PDK-S dual clutch transmission which means gear shifting will become ever faster.

Smart ForTwo Becomes a Disco Ball
What better way of using an electric Smart ForTwo than covering it with reflective glass tiles and turning it into a disco ball right?
This unusually customised electric two-seater represents the creation of an experimental artist formation called ‘Apparatjik’ and will appear in a movie name ‘Pixel City’. The Smart ForTwo Disco Ball was presented at the Nationalgalerie in Berlin, and like we’ve already said, everything from roof to hub caps, windows and wheels was covered with shiny tiles that will make you feel like dancing in an instant 🙂

2012 McLaren MP4 12C Road Test Video
We’ve seen Autocar’s review of the 2012 McLaren MP4 12C, and their conclusion was that even though in terms of performance the new British sports car is better than its competitors, it does not create the same kind of emotions as the 458 Italia for example.
But sometimes you need to see things from a different perspective in order to draw a final conclusion, so here is a second road test with the 2012 McLaren MP4 12C, this time courtesy of AutoExpress.

Video: Mark Webber explains KERS and Rear Wing on 2011 F1 Car
As you know FIA has allowed the use of KERS in the 2011 season of Formula 1, along with drivers having the ability of adjusting the position of the monopost’s rear wing in order to reduce drag. In this next animation video created by Red Bull Racing, Mark Webber explains how these two features may aid in the driver’s overall strategy of winning the race.
The KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems) allows storage of the energy generated upon braking into a battery pack. When these batteries are charged the F1 driver can send an additional 80 bhp to the back wheels by the push of a button. This boost can be used in small doses or all at once in both defence and attack strategies.
