Volvo C30 Electric in depth
After testing its C30 Electric in rough winter conditions, Volvo is now offering full details and photos with their new eco-friendly hatch that promises ‘almost zero CO2’.
With a power-train composed from a 24 kWh battery pack located where the fuel tank used to be, a 111 HP and 220 Nm of torque electric motor under its bonnet plus a 400 Volt high voltage system, the Volvo C30 Electric is expected to return 150 Km on a single charge.
Spada Codatronca Monza photos leaked
A trio of leaked photos with the Spada Codatronca Monza have surfaced online right before the exclusive open top Italian roadster’s debut at the Top Marques Monaco show.
Based on the Codatronca TS which was first seen in ’08, the Monza received the ‘necessary’ adaptations typical to roadsters, meaning roll-over protection and most likely a stiffer body as well.
Chevrolet Mi-ray Concept
The American automaker’s Korean arm has presented the Chevrolet Mi-ray Concept today in Seoul, a roadster that celebrates the company’s 100 years of existence in the market.
The Chevrolet Mi-ray is a hybrid roaster that draws its name from the Korean world ‘future’ and which features racer-style scissor doors, carbon fiber and CFRP (carbon fiber-reinforced plastic) body components, a dual sports grille, LED headlamps with the new signature daylight running lights, carbon fiber spoiler and aluminum-carbon fiber composite wheels which measure 20 inch at the front and 21 inch at the rear.

In today’s digital age phone books are of no use anymore right? Well the owner of a modified 2001 Chevy Tahoe has found a ‘good’ way of ‘testing’ the power of his custom audio system by channelling 30,000 Watts via four 18 inch sub-woofers directly towards a phone book.
The results are seen in the video below, and just to mention how much ‘audio power’ is packed into that 2011 Tahoe, according the the video description the system consists 13 amplifiers, 26 speakers ranging from 1 inch to 8 inch in size and the 4 18 inch woofers mentioned above.
Audi RS4 Avant in the works
Rumors that were mentioning the Audi RS4 being axed have circulated across the web some time ago. We are happy to announced that those were indeed just a bunch of rumors, because an Audi RS4 Avant test mule has been recently caught by spy photographers while doing runs on the Nurburgring track in Germany.
Based on the S4 Avant but featuring a series of exterior tweaks, the Audi RS4 Avant test mule looks like it borrowed its wheels from the RS5, and besides the modified front bumper it is also same to assume that the car has also been fitted with bigger brakes and a wider track.
2012 Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel details
Upon providing two photos with the 2012 Jaguar XF still wrapped up in camouflage, the British automaker has also informed us that this upcoming facelift generation will be debuting a new 2.2-litre diesel engine capable of generating 190 PS and 332 lb-ft of torque.
This 4-cylinder 16-valve common rail plant installed in a north-south configuration will also enable the 2012 Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel to return combined fuel economy figures of 52.3 miles per gallon and have CO2 emissions of 149 grams per Km.
Unichip Range Rover Sport
Unichip is continuing its engine tuning crusade by unveiling their latest ECU upgrade available for the 3.0-litre TDV6 version Range Rover Sport.
This new ‘U-connect’ product is suitable for all models mentioned above, produced since 2009 onwards, and just like most of their upgrades, this Uni-Q piggy back ECU allows the engine’s fuelling and turbo boost to be remapped and as a result develop more power.
2013 Chevrolet Malibu Teaser Photo
The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu will be unveiled on April 19th at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show as well as on the automaker’s Facebook page, but before we really get to see new model, the manufacturer decided that an initial teaser photo is just the right thing to do in order to build up tension.
We also get a video that teases the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu global premiere, and which informs about the ideas that we’re taken into account when this new generation was developed. We also found out that the new Malibu will be sold in nearly 100 countries across the globe and on 6 continents (North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia).
Hyundai Blue2 Sedan Concept
Another concept unveiled at the 2011 Seoul Motor Show today, this time by Hyundai who presented the Blue2, the next generation FCEV sedan featuring the latest latest breakthroughs in eco-friendly and telematics technologies.
Codenamed the HND-6, the Hyundai Blue2 Concept represents the automaker’s first ‘sedan-style’ Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) powered by hydrogen, with its fuel cell electric system delivering 90kW(1.65kW/L) and promising economy figures of 34.9km/â„“.
Kia Naimo Concept
The Kia Naimo has premiered at the Seoul Motor Show today, and according to the automaker this new concept, which is an electric CUV, combines Korean heritage with innovative technology.
Characterised by simple yet solid and muscular lines, the Kia Naimo Concept measures 3.9 m in length, 1,844 m in width and 1,589 m in height, has a generous wheelbase of 2,647 m and inside its cabin there is plenty of room four four passengers.
