Subaru XV Concept Teased
The world premiere of the Subaru XV Concept will take place at the 14th edition Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2011) next Tuesday, but until then the Japanese automaker is keeping us ‘busy’ with a teaser image that shows their latest creation sitting in the dark.
Through the Subaru XV Concept the Japanese company is offering a preview of their next generation crossover which according to them will combine SUV practicality with a fashionable form. The theme of this car is “Enjoyment and Peace of mind” and the main target are customers who are interested in a package that “stretches beyond those from the populated crowd of existing crossover models”

Mercedes SLR Black Arrow by EDO Competition
Even though production for the McLaren Mercedes SLR has stopped for some time now, there seems to be no shortage of tuners who want to further improve on this model. One of these tuners is EDO Competition who turned the McLaren SLR Coupe into a supercar that is even more appealing in terms of both appearance and performance.
Visual changes include the flat black body finish, the 21 inch double spoke design racing wheels wrapped in high-performance tires and the stainless steel exhaust system which promises a more aggressive tune. The interior features a wide range carbon fiber components, bucket seats covered in a combination of leather and alcantara, and an upgraded sound system which also includes navigation plus TV and iPod integration.

Opel Meriva Design Edition
Russelsheim based German automaker Opel decided to spice up their Meriva small monocab by introducing the Design Edition version.
This new variant comes with a glossy black roof, blackened headlamps which feature the AFL adaptive lighting, fog lamps, tinted and thermally insulated rear windows, 18 inch bi-color alloys and five exterior colours to choose from. These colours are Casablanca White, Magma Red, Technical Grey, Star Silver and the new, warm Henna and apart from these newly added features, the Opel Meriva Design Edition is also equipped with additional equipment as standard. This includes air conditioning, CD radio, on-board computer, a leather wrapped steering wheel, power windows at the front, electric exterior mirrors, cruise control plus the FlexRail center console storage.

2011 Jeep Compass Price
The 2011 Jeep Compass will go on sale in the UK on April 15th, so the North American car maker has just announced pricing for the new generation 4×4.
But first lets find out the engines available for the 2011 Jeep Compass in the UK. First we have the 2.2-litre 4-cylinder CDR turbo diesel unit which can produce either 134 bhp or 162 bhp. The higher output version delivers 23 bhp and 10 Nm of torque more than the old 2.0-litre unit, and according to the automaker, 65 percent of buyers are expected to choose this engine.

2012 Chevrolet Corvette Centennial Edition
Chevrolet is celebrating 100 years of existence, so to mark such an important event GM decided to launch the 2012 Corvette Centennial Edition.
This special package is available for all Corvette models, including the Z06, ZR1 and Grand Sport, and if you ask what kind of enhancements were added this time then we will tell you. The 2012 Chevrolet Corvette Centennial Edition sets itself apart through elements like the Carbon Flash Metallic paint, satin black graphics, Centenial Satin Black wheels made from aluminium and featuring a red outer-line and red brake calipers.

2012 Audi Q3 Sketches
Cross Coupe quattroAudi has published a series of sketches with the upcoming small SUV, the 2012 Q3. Intended as a competitor for the BMW X1, the 2012 Audi Q3 is based on Q5, and even though production will take place at Seat’s plant in Martorell, Spain, the new compact crossover will initially debut on the Chinese market, with the rest of the world’s markets to follow after that.
The upcoming Q3 will use TFSI and TDI engines from the Volkswagen group, and in terms of design we can see it features sharper angles when compared to the current generation, with a bald and dynamic appearance that reminds of the Cross Coupe quattro concept.

Presenation Video: Mercedes Concept A Class
Daimler has published the first batch of videos which follow the unveiling of the Mercedes Concept A Class. In the first presentation video we have Mark Featherston, the company’s exterior design chief for new concept cars talk about the main ideas and principles behind the Concept A Class while in the second footage offers a few scenes with Daimler’s latest creation in motion.
Even though the production version of the Concept A Class will loose some of its futuristic aspects, we can easily agree that this new generation will look far better than the current model, and that this upcoming rival for the BMW 1 Series and Audi A3 will definitely spice up things in the premium hatch segment.

Ford Focus ECOnetic
The Blue Oval will debut the Ford Focus ECOnetic next year, a fuel efficient model better than all of Europe’s currently available compact cars, which will require less than 3.5-litres of fuel per 100 Km (80 mpg).
With power extracted from a 105PS 1.6-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel unit that includes a new fuel injection system and turbocharger, the Ford Focus ECOnetic will benefit from air cooling and friction reduction systems plus it will be equipped with low friction tires and an optimised transmission with a revised final drive ratio.

2013 BMW 5 Series Plug in Hybrid
The 2013 BMW 5 Series Plug in Hybrid represents the result of BMW teaming up with Brilliance Automotive who created a prototype for the premium segment which is going to enter production within two years.
Based on the long wheelbase version, the 2013 BMW 5 Series Plug in Hybrid is going to be unveiled at this year’s Auto Shanghai, and in case you are getting your hopes up, this new model will be available to the Chinese market only.

Anderson Germany Ferrari 458
Anderson Germany is a tuner who thinks that red is not necessarily the only colour which can characterize a true Ferrari.
To support their claim they have created the Ferrari 458 Black Carbon Edition, a ‘rare’ exemplar which comes fitted with a series of externally visible modifications that include a vented bonnet with carbon air intakes, carbon fiber blades in the front apron, carbon mirrors casings, a carbon diffuser and 21 inch carbon rims wrapped in performance tires (size 245/345 front and back).
