2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8
The most powerful version of the recently introduced Chrysler 300 is here. This is the 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 introduced at the 2011 New York Auto Show today, a machine that not only is more powerful than the 300C SRT8, but is also way more refined, and you might not have guessed it but is also more efficient in terms of fuel consumption.
The 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 is powered by the automaker’s new Pentastar 6.4-litre Hemi V8 which produces 465 HP and 465 lb-ft of torque, which means an increase of 40 HP over the old 6.1-litre Hemi V8. Power will be sent to the wheels through the same 5-speed automatic transmission, but in this case operated by steering wheel mounted paddle shifters, and even though the final performance figures are not mentioned yet, Chrysler says the new 300 SRT8 will sprint from nought to 60 mph in less than 5.0 seconds and will reach a top speed of 175 mph.

Shanghai 2011: Nissan Compact Sport Concept
The design and the interior is futuristic in concept, good standards and is full of frills that do not reach the production stage. About production plans said Nissan has not yet indicated whether they “want to take into production. And if there should be something in the showrooms that are similar, then these showrooms are not in Europe.
Nissan unveiled a new design study at this year’s Shanghai Motor Show, it is called the Compact Sport Concept, and if you ask us, this is how the current Micra should have looked like from the start. But anyway back to the Concept, this new 3-door hatch was designed by Nissan’s studio in Japan in collaboration with their design centre in China and it is basically a beefed up Micra that uses sportier looking components like new bumpers, revamped headlights and taillights, a reshaped bonnet, a new windscreen which extends on to the roof, wider wheel arches and newly styled alloys.

2013 Ford Taurus and Taurus SHO
One of the first automakers who started releasing information regarding their highlights at this year’s NYIAS is Ford. Their stand will premiere the updated Taurus and Taurus SHO versions which will enter the market as 2013 models.
The exterior of the new 2013 Ford Taurus does not look much different than the current generation, but it has been further refined through a series of tweaks that include restyled headlamps, a new trapezoidal grille, a new front bumper, revamped taillights incorporating larger LEDs and new alloys.

2011 Toyota Auris Edition
Toyota has upgraded the 2011 Auris range with extra equipment and a new entry level version called the Auris Edition.
The 2011 Toyota Auris Edition in both 3-door and 5-door body styles replaces the previous T2, with equipment that goes beyond that what the T2 used to offer. And this means features like 16 inch alloys and electric heated/retracting door mirrors which are in addition to an already generous standard equipment list that includes air conditioning, a 4-speaker sound system, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRC).

2011 Chrysler 200 S Sedan and Convertible
We have already seen a few photos with the Chrysler 200 S Convertible from when the North American company chose to take this new trim series at this year’s LX Festival.
We now have additional information as well as a few hi-res photos of both the 2011 Chrysler 200 S Sedan and Convertible as the company decided to do the honors before the 2011 New York International Auto Show opens its doors on April 20th.
The S ‘transformation’ applied to the sedan and convertible versions of the 200 is only limited to visual enhancements, and these include a shiny black front grille, body matching door handles and mirror casings, darkened headlamps, newly designed 18 inch aluminium wheels and of course also the S badge.

2012 Dodge Avenger RT – Photos and Details
Chrysler’s latest model to receive the RT treatment, is the Dodge Avenger sedan, a car which will be unveiled at the 2011 New York Auto Show this week.
Under the skin the 2012 Dodge Avenger RT features the same engine and gearbox as the regular version, meaning a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 rated at 283 horses and a 6-speed transmission which in this case helps the RT return 19 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.
So what sets the 2012 Dodge Avenger RT apart from the regular version you might ask. Well according to the North American car maker, this new model uses a stiffer suspension featuring increased stiff rates both at the front and rear, which help this sedan become more stable on the road and easier to handle.

2012 Nissan Tiida
At the 14th edition Shanghai Motor Show, Nissan unveil the all-new Tiida, a compact hatchback for the Chinese market which will try to replicate the success of its previous generation that sold 85,000 units in 2010.
The 2012 Nissan Tiida hatchback will also be sold across the globe, wearing different badges depending on the market, and will continue to target young families through its ‘premium and agile styling’, ‘class leading comfort’ and the ‘PURE DRIVE revolutionary powertrain’.

2013 Infiniti JX New Teaser
Here is a second teaser with the upcoming Infinity XJ, a luxury crossover that is scheduled to join the automaker’s lineup next spring and which will be sold as a 2013 model.
Even though the image is still not clear, it is much better than the first one which only showed the shape of the car. We can see that the Infiniti JX will continue to use the brand’s signature styling cues, with dynamic and elegant shapes inspired by nature, plus we can also notice the ‘crescent cut’ greenhouse lines, first seen on the Infiniti Essence Concept.

Kia K2 Sedan
Kia’s all new Rio based K2 sedan, a model developed exclusively for the Chinese market has been unveiled today at the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show.
The Kia K2 Sedan will be assembled at the Dongfeng Yueda manufacturing facility in Jiangsu starting from June, with a 5-door hatchback version also expected to enter production in August.
The new Kia K2 measures 4,370 mm in length, 1,700 mm in width, 1,460 mm in height, and has the longest wheelbase in its class (2,570 mm), plus it offers an ample luggage capacity of 500 litres. Power will be provided by either a 1.4-litre or a 1.6-litre Gamma petrol engine, both available with manual or automatic transmissions, and once it will hit the market, the car will be offered in six trim levels.

Audi A3 e-Tron Concept
The four rings automaker unveiled its latest technical study today in Shanghai – the Audi A3 e-Tron Concept. Even though at a first glance it resembles with the A Sedan Concept seen in Geneva earlier this year, the Audi A3 e-Tron runs on a totally different powertrain.
Instead of a 2.5-litre turbocharged engine developing 408 HP, the Audi A3 e-Tron extracts power from a 1.4-litre TFSI unit packing 211 horses and an electric motor that offers an additional 27 HP for a total system output of 238 horsepower.
