Vorsteiner is introducing the V-PT kit for the Porsche Panamera, which includes a number of performance minded aerodynamic components and leaves the engine untouched.

These components include a front bumper and a front splitter with a removable carbon fiber insert which can be replaced in case of damage, a pair of side skirts featuring high quality carbon fiber craftsmanship which allow further customization, a new rear spoiler and a redesigned bumper. The rear spoiler has been shaped in order to increase down force and does not interfere with the factory electronic wing.

Stuttgart’s grand turismo range has just got more interesting, as the German automaker has introduced the Porsche Panamera Diesel, a sporty four door capable of covering more than 1,200 Km on a single 80 litre fuel tank.

This means that fuel consumption is of only 6.3-litres per 100 Km (when equipped with the optional low resistance tires) while CO2 emissions are 167 grammes per Km. When fitted with the standard tires, the Porsche Panamera Diesel returns 6.5-litres per 100 Km (172 g/Km of CO2) while the 3.0-lites V6 engine from under the bonnet develops 250 horsepower (1843 kW) between 3,800 rpm and 4,400 rpm and a maximum of 550 Nm of torque between 1,750 rpm and 2,750 rpm.

The horizontally opposed 2.0-litre boxer engine fitted on the 2012 Toyota FT-86 will use direct injection technology combined with port injection, and even though its output was not specified, the results promise increased horsepower without compromising fuel consumption and emission levels.

The second full length trailer for Transformers 3 Dark Of The Moon is now online, and if the first two teaser trailers were only offering bits and pieces from the story line, we can now get a better idea of what to expect from this third and final installment.

Out initial reaction after watching it is that Dark Of The Moon represents a big step forward as far as special effects, and the whole plot looks more composed. As you might already know Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was chosen as a replacement for Megan Fox by Michael Bay, while Shia LaBeouf will continue to play his role as Sam Witwicky. As far as the Autobots things remain the same, while the Decepticons are now bigger and meaner.

Only a few day after the first Aventador commercial has hit the web, Lamborghini has released two new promo videos, each featuring two Aventadors rolling together on the countryside near the Italian capital and also in the city of Rome.

Unlike the previous clip which was mostly done using CGI, this time we get to see the two Aventadors surrounded by natural scenery, and even though the sound of their V12 engines would have been enough for us, we have to agree that the background music is certainly matching the Aventador’s dramatic appearance.

FifthGear took Infiniti’s 40,000 GBP luxury diesel saloon, the M30d for a test drive in order to see how it performs in comparison with some of the other respected players in this segment like the BMW 530d, the Mercedes E350 CDI or the Jaguar XF Diesel.

Inifiniti has truly made an effort in making this new saloon as competitive as possible, and by that we refer to the fact that the M30d has four wheel steering (like the BMW 5 Series), aluminium door panels (like the Audi), double glazing windows (like an older Mercedes) and an interior noise level that would make even a few of the petrol powered saloons a bit jealous.
