Lexus CT300h Details
Lexus plans to expand its efficient hatchback range with a more potent hybrid badged as the CT300h which according to various sources will produce somewhere around 200 horsepower.
Apart from the CT300h, Toyota’s luxury division is also planning a small size crossover positioned under the RX, with these new details reportedly being confirmed by one of the automaker’s officials (Tony Cramb), the head of Lexus Australia.

Nissan NV200 is the next New York City Taxi
Japanese automaker Nissan has been selected as the company who will be providing the next generation of taxis for New York City. The new cab which will be the only version to replace all of today’s models is the Nissan NV200 minivan, a reiteration of the compact commercial NV200.
Mayor Bloomberg said “The city’s Taxi of Tomorrow is the Nissan NV 200 – and it’s going to be the safest, most comfortable and most convenient cab the city has ever had” “The new taxis will be custom-designed to meet the specific demands of carrying 600,000 passengers a day in New York City traffic and the vehicle meets the top priorities identified by the public in our on-line survey.”

Chrysler is presenting the Dodge Ram Long Hauler Concept, a truck that is most likely the biggest so far, with the longest range and incredible puling power.
Based on the Class 5 Ram 5500 Chassis Cab, the Dodge Ram Long Hauler Concept is design for people who need to tow heavy trailers for long distances, or small business owners who need a ‘work horse’. The Long Hauler will be on display at various events across the U.S. where the automaker will collect feedback in order to make a decision weather or not to take this ‘montruous’ truck into production.
Novitec Alfa Romeo 8C Spider
The experienced tuners from Novitec Rosso have done it again. This time they transformed the 8C Spider into the world’s most powerful and fastest Alfa Romeo.
The most important upgrades that made it all possible are the high-tech supercharger system and the stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system thanks to which power has jumped from 450 HP (331 kW) to 600 HP (441 kW) and 588 Nm of torque at 5,400 rpm.

Swedish automaker Volvo is offering new details and photos regarding their range topping sedan and estate models : the S80 Executive and the V70 R Design.
Both these versions “are designed around the growing number of people who appreciate the possibility of tailoring their cars to suit individual tastes” and come with extra equipment and exclusive features that add individuality.
Starting with the Volvo S80 Executive, this exclusive sedan features the ‘traditional’ sober Scandinavian design along with a series of upgrades that create a sophisticated and comfortable environment for its occupants. These include a leather topped instrument panel (in espresso brown or off black), ventilated leather seats which also integrate massage functions, leather door panels, an aluminium center console storage and a new analogue clock integrated into the dash.
Prior Design Bentley Continental GT Cabriolet
Prior Design unveiled a pair of images with the ‘High Society’ transformation of the Bentley Continental GT Cabriolet, a customised variant which will be seen at the Tuning World Bodensee on May 5th, 2011.
As you can see the exterior looks much more aggressive now thanks to an extensive list of modifications, and according to the tuner these are not all in the name of exclusivity, as they are also helping the luxurious cabriolet become more aerodynamic as well.

The Americans from MotorTrend have tested the Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet, the eccentric SUV which can offer an open air experience to up to four occupants.
Featuring an hydraulic fabric soft top cover built by Magna International (the same supplier for the 370Z), the Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet makes use of a complex mechanism that has five collapsible section built from aluminium and magnesium.
Mercedes SL65 AMG by INDEN Design
German tuner INDEN Design took on the challenge of tuning the V12 BiTurbo version Mercedes SL65 AMG into an even more powerful roadster.
We remind you that the stock version and its 6.0-litre unit which has also been used in Maybach models, is developing 612 horsepower (450 kW) and 1200 Nm of torque (limited to 1000 Nm). Those figures are things from the past now, as the Mercedes SL65 AMG by INDEN Design is capable of unleashing 680 horsepower, plus the Flammersbach based tuner has removed the Vmax-lock.
