Citroen DS4 Review Video
FifthGear is back with another review, and this time they drive Citroen’s fancy dressed DS3, and we’re of-course talking about the DS4.
This version is definitely stylish, more fun and more luxurious than the version on which is based, but considering its high suspension, is the DS4 really a machine which delivers “unrivalled driving sensations and outstanding agile on-road handling” ?
2012 Opel Zafira Minivan Unveiled
Opel has unveiled today the production version 2012 Zafira minivan, first seen as a concept during this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
According to the automaker this new model represents a quantum leap in terms of flexibility combined with premium qualities, featuring the Flex7 seating concept which has been further upgraded with three individual seats in the middle row. These seats can be folded flat, can move independently and can also slide longitudinally by 210 mm.
Audi Q3 UK Price
The German automaker has just announced that it will open the order books for the new Audi Q3 in the UK in June and that the first customer deliveries are scheduled for November.
Available with four direct injected and turbocharged power plants (2.0 TFSI 170PS, 2.0 TFSI 211PS, 2.0 TDI 140PS, 2.0 TDI 177PS), all enhanced with fuel saving measures like start stop and energy recuperation systems, the new Audi Q3 will come with features like the new MMI navigation plus, online Bluetooth car phone, WLAN connectivity and parallel and perpendicular park assist as standard.
Hyundai Genesis Prada Goes on Sale
Hyundai has unveiled the production version of the Genesis Prada (seen for the first time at the 2009 Seoul Motor Show) at a special media event held in the Korean capital today.
Based on the 2012 Genesis, this limited edition version designed with input from Prada (one of the world’s most exclusive luxury brands), extracts power from a 5.0-litre GDi V8 engine producing 430 PS and 52.0kgm of peak torque via a 8-speed automatic transmission.
Oakley Lamborghini Aventador
Despite the fact that the new Lamborghini Aventador is a machine that looks unique and is powerful enough as standard, tuning companies like Oakely Design will always think differently. A touch of extra exclusivity and a boost in performance will always be appreciated, so that’s why Oakely have developed a series of upgrades for the LP700-4.
Complete details regarding the Oakley Lamborghini Aventador are still on their way, but for now we know that the kit will include a custom/weight optimised titanium exhaust system, a lowered suspension and revised engine electronics which will allow an output increase of around 60 HP.
Video: Porsche 911 Carrera S vs Lotus Evora S
Vicky Handersson from FifthGear has traveled to the Assen TT circuit in the Netherlands in order to find out if the Lotus Evora S is as fast as its main rival, the Porsche Carrera S.
Even though statistically the two performance coupes are very close, their designs are very different. The Evora S costs 60,300 GBP and its mid positioned supercharged engine rated at 345 bhp enables it to sprint from nought to 60 in 4.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 172 mph.
Wheelsandmore Aston Martin Vantage
The R8 V10 Spyder is not the only project Wheelsandmore has been working on lately. A second series of upgrades have also been applied by the German tuner on the Aston Martin Vantage V8.
The recipe for exclusivity and performance is almost the same, meaning the car received the tuner’s 21 inch 3-piece 6SPorz rims wrapped in performance rubber, a new coilover suspension kit from KW with adjustable rebound and compression, plus a custom exhaust system.
Audi R8 V10 Spyder by Wheelsandmore
Wheelsandmore have developed a second sample based on their previous performance package which targeted the Audi R8 V10 Coupe last year.
This time it is all about the V10 Spyder which received the tuner’s lightweight 3-piece 6Sporz wheel set wrapped in Continental tires (size 245/30/20 at the front and 295/35/20 at the rear), a discreet matt black finish for the front grille, black enameled exhaust pipes and a new suspension featuring the LCS (level-control-system) hydraulic lift up system.
Porsche 997 GT2 by mcchip dkr
The tuners from mcchip dkr lead by company’s CEO, Danny Kibasik have created a performance upgrade for the sixth generation Porsche 997 GT2.
The kit consists of modified turbochargers (Stage 3/MC650), high performance charge air coolers, 200-cell sport catalysts and manifolds from Cargraphic and Stage 3 software optimization program from KUBATECH. The Porsche 997 GT2 is a performance coupe which delivers 530 HP and 680 Nm of torque as standard, but after receiving all the upgrades mentioned above, the rear positioned 3.6-litre engine gets boosted to no less than 657 HP and 835 Nm.
MV Agusta F4 RR
“The world’s most advanced and powerful superbike in the world” – if this statement would have to be compressed into something shorter then it can be rephrased to MV Agusta F4 RR.
Featuring the world’s most sophisticated chassis, a high tech suspnesion, and a combination of exotic materials, the MV Agusta F4 RR is a monster on two wheels which extracts power from a 1000cc short stroke engine delivering no less than 201 HP @ 13,400 rpm.
As its manufacturer claims, the F4 RR is basicaly the best that technology can offer to the motorcycling world right now, and apart from its completly new engine, this new MV Augusta has also been equipped with large-diameter titanium intake and exhaust valves, a new exhaust (4-2-1-4), a close ratio gearbox, variable lenght intake runners and forged aluminium wheels.
The MV Agusta F4 RR also comes with an Ohlins multi adjustable 43 mm fork, an Ohlins TTX 36 rear shock and steering damper, plus hight performance brakes featuring Brembo monobloc callipers paired with Brembo radial master cylinders.
Pricing for the MV Agusta F4 RR was not announced yet.
