mcchip dkr Mercedes C63 AMG
Affalterbach based tuner mcchip-dkr has a proposal for those who ‘lust for power’ and consider that the output on a standard Mercedes C63 AMG in insufficient.
They offer a stage 3 conversion which includes an engine software optimisation plus a remote controlled exhaust system from Cargraphic which incorporates a header, a middle silencer and a rear silencer. These upgrades enable the mcchip dkr Mercedes C63 AMG to increase output from 457 HP and 600 Nm of torque to 583 HP and 692 Nm, so as a result the Vmax electronic limiting has been increased to 310 Km/h.

Ferrari Superamerica 45 Delivered
The Prancing Horse has just published a trio of photos with the Ferrari Superamerica 45, a one off model which will appear in the flesh at this year’s edition Villa d’Estate Concorso d’Eleganza, on May 20th.
The car was styled by Ferrari Design based on indications received from Peter Kaikow, a New York collector and Ferrari enthusiast who took delivery of his exclusive open top sports at the automaker’s factory today.
The Superamerica 45 celebrates 45 years since Mr Kalikow first bought a Ferrari, and some of its special features include a carbon-fibre rotating hard-top which incorporates a rear screen, a carbon-fibre boot designed to accommodate the roof when open air driving is desired, plus a body coloured bumpers and a chromed front grille.

Superchips MINI Cooper S R56
The ECU remapping specialists from Superchips are back with a new electronic tuning program, this time applied to the MINI Cooper S R56 which features the revised 181 bhp (184 PS) 1.6-litre direct injection, turbocharged engine produced from March 2010 onwards.
This software optimisation program was developed after analysing the Bosch MED 17 ECU and extensively testing the car on the dyno as well as on public roads, and the results are that the Superchips MINI Cooper S R56 can now boost an additional 25 bhp at 5,444 rpm and 32 Nm of torque at 3,765 rpm.

2012 Audi A6 Avant
Here it is ! the latest generation 2012 Audi A6 Avant, a model which will once again set the standard for business class station wagons, unveiled today by the German automaker in Berlin.
Measuring 4.93 m in length (16.17 ft), a low roof line, flat D pillars, LED headlights and taillights and a luggage compartment with a capacity of 565 litres (19.95 cu ft) / 1,680 litres (59.33 cu ft) with the rear seats folded, the 2012 Audi A6 Avant is most certainly the way to go when interested in combining style with practicality.
Due to extensive use of aluminium, the new Audi A6 Avant weights around 70 Kg (154.32 lb) less than before, with the 2.0-litre TDI version for example, tipping the scale at just 1,650 Kg (3,615 lb).

Renault Scenic Energy dCi 130
Renault is expanding the Scenic engine range with a new 1.6-litre Energy dCi 130 plant which according to them is the most powerful engine of its size available on the market today.
When compared to the previous 1.9-litre diesel unit producing the same level of power, the Renault Scenic Energy dCi 130, which is Euro 5 compliant, has the lowest emissions when compared to any other MPV, emitting 115 grammes of CO2 per Km.
Fuel economy has also been improved, as the new engine helps the French model return 64.2 mpg in a combined cycle, while torque has increased from 300 to 320 Nm. 0 to 62 mpg acceleration times for the new Energy dCi 130 are 10.3 seconds, while its top speed is 21 mph.

2011 Nissan 370Z GT Edition
Nissan is introducing a limited edition 370Z called the GT Edition which celebrates the automaker’s ‘success in GT racing’ and 40 years since the Z models have first entered the UK market.
This 2011 Nissan 370Z GT Edition is based on the Coupe and comes with 19 inch RAYS forged alloys, grey ‘GT’ stripes running above the side skirts, a returned suspension and a series of equipment upgrades.

Honda CR Z MUGEN Photos
The first official photos with the higher-performance Honda CR Z MUGEN hybrid coupe have been unveiled today by the Japanese automaker’s UK division and MUGEN Euro.
Even thought performance figures are not public yet, the supercharged Honda CR Z MUGEN is expected to sprint from nought to 60 mpg as quickly as the Civic Type R, thanks in part to its 15 percent increase in power and the weight saving program that shaved 50 kilos from the chassis.

2012 Kawasaki KX250F and KX450F
Kawasaki has released more details regarding the 2012 season KX250F and KX450F bikes, which are the first motocross machines to ever make use of dual injectors.
Designed to take their off-road capabilities even further, the 2012 Kawasaki KX250F and KX450F come with improved handling and a more composed suspension. The manufacturer explains that the dual injector set up uses a downstream injector to ensure instant response while the upstream injector is tasked with providing power as the rpm and throttle position increase. The transition between the two is almost instantaneous.

Mazda SKYACTIV G 1.3 Direct Injection Gasoline Engine
Mazda announced that its SKYACTIV G 1.3 Direct Injection Gasoline Engine will soon enter the market (on the facelift Demio known as the Mazda2), with the official unveiling of this new powerplant expected to take place today at the Pacifico Yokohama convention center near Tokyo, Japan.
Combined with the automaker’s i-stop idling stop system, the SKYACTIV G 1.3 features a record high compression ratio of 14.0:1 together with knocking avoiding technologies like piston cavities designed to support ideal combustion and multi hole injectors for precise fuel injection.

The Japanese from Best Motoring Fuji have created a supercar battle which involved some of the best performance cars money can buy.
