Aston Martin Zagato V12 Vantage Video
The Aston Martin Zagato V12 Vantage has won the Concorso d’Eleganza Design Award for Concept Cars and Prototypes in Italy this weekend, and in case you are not aware of it, the car represents a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the DB4GT Zagato.
The Aston Martin Zagato V12 was declared the winner among 10 entries from around the world, and Dr Ulrich Bez, CEO of Aston Martin, said that “Based on the reactions of our customers to this race car, we hope to offer a road-homologated V12 Zagato in a small, limited number as soon as possible. First feedback has been great so far, this makes us confident that this new Aston Martin V12 Zagato will be a winner of the classic car vote at Villa D’Este in fifty years time.”

Video: BMW 1 Series M Coupe Review
In their latest review, the British from AutoExpress are trying to find out if the 40,000 GBP BMW 1 Series M Coupe (the cheapest model from BMW’s performance division which costs almost 13,000 GBP more than an M3) is worthy or wearing the legendary M badge.
After ignoring the fact that the BMW 1 Series M Coupe could have simply been named the M1, AutoExpress moves on to analyzing the 3.0-litre straight-six twin-turbo from under the bonnet which is the same with the one found in the Z4 sDrive35is. Thanks to this engine the 1 Series M Coupe can deliver 335 bhp and 450 Nm at 1,500 rpm (which means more torque than you get from the M3’s V8) and can also accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.9 seconds while enabling a limited top speed of 155 mph.

Mercedes GL Grand Edition
Daimler has welcomed a second visually enhanced model wearing the ‘Grand Edition’ badge (apart from the ML) into the SUV range. We’re talking about the Mercedes GL Grand Edition, a special version which packs extra exclusivity and features a more comfortable interior.
Besides a set of special light alloy wheels in himalayas grey metallic finish (wrapped in 275/50 R 20 tyres) the GL Grand Edition comes with dark-tinted headlamps, a radiator grille with black, high-gloss louvres, a newly designed front bumper with integrated LED lamps, a number of metallic paint finishes, heat-insulating and infrared-reflecting laminated glass and separated exhaust tailpipe trim.

Autocar’s latest short review brings the heavily revised 2012 Bentley Continental GT into the spot light. with the test concentrating on three aspects : entertainment, practicality and value for money.
With 567 bhp PS and 700 Nm being fed to the car’s four-wheel-drive system via a new Quickshift transmission the 2012 Bentley Continental GT which weights no less than 2.32 tonnes has plenty of grip and plenty of go and can easily take its occupants and their luggage on long trips like for example from the UK to the South of France.

KTM X BOW R – Photos and Details
The Austrians from KTM have released photos and details with the X BOW R, a more powerful version sports car which received a wide series of improvements in order to achieve optimal performance and remain true to the company’s motto – ‘Ready to Race’.
With power extracted from an Audi sourced 2.0-litre TFSI engine which received a larger turbocharger, a modified fuel injection system and new electronics, the KTM X BOW R produces 300 HP (220 kW) and 400 Nm of torque at 3,300 rpm.

BMW 328 Hommage Concept
The Bavarian automaker has showcased the BMW 328 Hommage during this weekend’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este held near lake Como in Italy. The car represents a reiteration of the classic/original model born 75 years ago and is based on the Vision Connected Drive Concept first seen in Geneva in March 2011.
As with any modern concept honoring a classic, the BMW 328 Hommage combines new technologies, in this case represented by lightweight design through the usage of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) with a series of styling elements that remind of the original roadster.

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Test Drive Video
Every major car magazine will sooner or later get its hands on the new Lamborghini Aventador, and after we’ve seen Autocar’s first review of the LP700 4, it is now time to see what the journalists from EVO think about it.
They took the Murcielago replacement for a test drive on the Vallelunga track in Italy, and have also spoken to Maurizio Reggiani, Lamborghini’s Research and Development Technical Director who talked a little about the technical highlights on the new Aventador.

Gucci Fiat 500 Price for UK
UK pricing for the special edition Gucci Fiat 500 developed by Gucci’s Creative Director, Frida Giannini in collaboration with Fiat’s Centro Stile, has been announced.
Available on the British market with a choice between a 1.2-lire on a 0.9-litre TwinAir engine, the Gucci Fiat 500 will initially be sold through an on-line sales scheme which will allow customers to configure their car, pay the deposit, order it from the factory, make the final payment and arrange delivery to their home.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato
The fruit of the collaboration between Aston Martin and Zagato, a car that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the iconic DB4GT Zagato, has been unveiled. This is the Aston Martin V12 Zagato, a concept which will be seen at the Villa D’Este Concours, on the shores of Lake Como, in Italy, tomorrow – May 21st.
Featuring a handmade aluminium body and panels that were formed using an English wheel and traditionally crafted body bucks, the Aston Martin V12 Zagato delivers a muscular appearance through a series of the traditional Zagato design cues like the double bubble roof.

The 2011 Volkswagen Transporter Sportline extract power from a 2.0-litre BiTDI diesel engine which delivers 180 PS to the wheels via a standard 6-speed manual, or an optional 7-speed DSG transmission for an extra 1,400 GBP.
