Volvo V60 DRIVe Review Video
A new review video from FifthGear, and this time it’s about the Volvo V60 DRIVe, a car that has a smaller boot than its rivals, the BMW 3 Series Touring and the Audi A4 Avant, which costs between 24,000 and 28,000 GBP in the UK.
Fitted with a 1.6-litre engine under its bonnet which Volvo claims it will return 62 mpg and accelerate from nought to 62 mph in 11.3 seconds, this particular V60 DRIVe shown here is also equipped with the R Design package, which consists of a stiffer suspension, and a sporty looking exterior kit.
AC Schnitzer MINI JCW EAGLE
AC Schnitzer’s latest tuning program is a concept vehicle based on the MINI John Cooper Works (JCW) and according to them the car was developed as a technology platform and is now valued at 62,000 Euro.
Dubbed as the MINI Eagle, the car features a long list of mechanical upgrades, some of which include a new turbocharger and intercooler, a new sports clutch and a limited slip differential, a lightweight ion battery plus AC Schinitzer’s Motronic program

There is nothing wrong with wanting to stand out from the crowd, and automakers are definitely addressing this need more and more these days, offering a wide range of solutions through which customers can personalise their acquisition.
The problem is being different is not always the same thing with being better, or in this case looking better, especially when you take matter into your own hands and consider that your own ideas are better than what Rolls Royce in this case has to offer as standard. But of-course it is all a matter of taste, and like Einstein’s theory says, ‘everything is relative’.
Senner Tuning targets the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI S Tronic
For their latest series of aftermarket upgrades, the Germans from Senner Tuning have targeted the youngest member from Audi’s model range, the A1.
The kit applies to the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI S Tronic and it includes both visual and mechanical changes. At the exterior, Audi’s baby model received a special teak brown metallic finish, a shiny black radiator grille, a redesigned front apron which includes a front spoiler lip, new side skirts and an S Line inspired rear apron which accommodates the two, 90mm stainless steel exhaust pipes.
2012 Buick Regal GS fuel economy and specs
Back in January last year GM was telling us that the North American version Opel Insignia OPC, the Buick Regal GS, would extract 255 HP and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque from a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine which uses direct fuel injection.
The U.S. automaker is now offering new details, claiming that the 2012 Buick Regal GS has actually been SAE-certified to produce 270 HP (201 kW) and 295 lb-ft of torque, figures which will help the car reach 60 mph from a stand still in 6.7 seconds, instead of the previously mentioned 7.0 seconds

2012 BMW M5 Official Photos and Specs
The Bavarian automaker’s fifth generation performance saloon, the 2012 BMW M5 has been officially unveiled, after a series of leaked photos has surfaced online earlier today.
We’ll cut to chase and start telling you that the 2012 BMW M5 is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 engine enhanced by the M TwinPower Turbo package which means it features the Twin Scroll Twin Turbo technology, a cross-bank exhaust manifold and a high precision direct injection plus the VALVETRONIC fully variable valve control system.
Carlsson 2012 Mercedes SLK
Carlsson has completed its latest tuning kit which expresses their vision of what a more exclusive 2012 Mercedes SLK.
The kit is aimed at both the exterior and interior plus it includes additional control units which boosts the engine’s performance by as much as 40 HP.
Starting with the exterior the Carlsson 2012 Mercedes SLK is equipped with aerodynamic features like a new front spoiler and a rear apron insert (available at 620 Euro each), stainless steel grille inserts (449 Euro) which replace the standard honeycombs, a pair of new side sills, and a stainless steel sport exhaust system with oval shaped end pipes priced at 1,298 Euro.
2012 Chevrolet Corvette Price
Prices for the 2012 Chevrolet Corvette are up, and even though GM hasn’t released anything official yet, the numbers pointing to the new generation models are now in the possession of some Chevrolet dealers in North America.
This price increase ranges from around 500 USD to 1,250 USD, depending on the model, and apart from the various improvements that have been made, these new tags are also closely related to the weaker economy and the fact that some of the customers are now interested in the new and cheaper Chevy Camaro.
BMW 2 Series and 4 Series info
An interesting headline making the rounds on the online automotive scene today, comes from the Brits at Car Magazine who mention that the Bavarian automaker is planning to introduce the next generation 1 Series and 3 Series, in both coupe and convertible forms, as the BMW 2 Series and 4 Series.
It is not the first time BMW tries to accomplish this, since they came close to converting the 2-door 3 Series into the 4 Series around 10 years ago, but now the German automaker seems more determined, considering the fact that they are also planning to add two new 2 Series models.
