BMW i8 appears in Mission Impossible 4 Trailer
If the producers of Transformers 3 have chosen various GM cars for their latest installment ‘Dark of the Moon’, and we are talking about the Camaro Bumblebee, the Chevrolet Stingray and even the latest generation Chevy Cruze, then the crew filming the upcoming Mission Impossible 4 has preferred BMW models.
And we are talking about the new 6 Series convertible, which as the trailer shows, will get involved in a head-on collision with another car, plus the future BMW i8 which will be driven Tom Cruise who is known as Ethan Hunt in the movie.

MotorTrend has got a hold on one of the 333 exemplars 2012 Audi R8 GT, or better said, one of the 90 units which are slated for the US.
Carrying a price tag of 196,800 USD the 2012 Audi R8 GT is a race track ready R8 straight from the factory, which produces 35 HP more than the standard model due to remapped engine tuning and a free flowing exhaust system.
Audi R8 V8 Limited Edition
Audi in launching a limited edition R8 V8 which features a series of distinctive visual elements and a higher level of standard equipment, that marks the automaker’s 10th victory at the 24h of Le Mans.
The car is available with a manual or an R tronic automated transmission and comes with 19 inch, R8 GT inspired, titanium look alloy wheels, red brake callipers and an optional Carbon Package which includes carbon sigma side blades, door mirrors, monoposto, inlays and door sill trims.
2011 Pikes Peak Record Video
Nobuhiro ‘Monster’ Tajima has improved his personal best and set a new record at the Pikes Peak last week, after his modified, 910 HP Suzuki SX4 has completed the 12.4 mile long course in 9:51.278.
Apart from being the quickest, this is also the first time anyone has ever raced to the top of Pikes Peak in less then 10 minutes, so if you are curious to see how it all looked from behind the steering wheel, then the video below the jump will provide just that.
Peugeot RCZ Asphalt Price for UK
The French from Peugeot have just announced that order books for the limited edition RCZ Asphalt are now open.
The automaker will build only 75 right-hand-drive exemplars for the UK, all of which come with the special matt Telluric grey body finish, and a wide range of equipment due to the fact that this model is based on the range topping RCZ GT.
With power extracted from a 200 bhp THP petrol unit, the Peugeot RCZ Asphalt will also feature a black roof, unique badging, 19 inch Solstice black alloys and matching black brake callipers. The interior maintains the drama with Asphalt branded Nappa leather trim and Alcantara covered steering wheel and gear shifter, along with special sill covers and floor mats.

BMW Canada is getting pretty aggressive in promoting the new BMW 1M, and that’s just the appropriate attitude when trying to sell a fast and powerful sports coupe right ?
Well for their latest promo they have taken the BMW 1M Coupe to the highest building in California on top of which you find the world’s tallest helipad. That is where a mystery, and we guess also professional driver, wearing a helmet (we don’t know what for) performed a number of circular drifts with the BMW 1M which look pretty cool and a little bit scary in the same time.
2012 Scion tC RS 7.0
Less than a year ago, Scion was introducing the second generation tC, and now they are launching the first release series based on this latest generation sports coupe, the 2012 Scion tC RS 7.0, along with a number of equipment upgrades for the base model.
The 2012 Scion tC RS 7.0 comes with an unique High Voltage yellow exterior and a TRD body kit which includes new bumpers positioned closer to the ground, new side skirts and a honeycomb pattern lower front grille.
Bobby Register crashing and going downhill at Pikes Peak 2011
Spectators who gathered on Pike Peak this weekend to view the famous International Hill Climb have witnessed a terrifying accident.
One of the cars racing to the top of the mountain has lost control in one of the curves, and went flying off the Pikes Peak. The driver in question is Bobby Regester who’s Pontiac Sunfire has luckily crashed into a pile of boulders after slipping of the track and going downhill.
2012 jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel covers 816 miles on one tank
In order to prove just how fuel efficient the 2012 Jaguar XF 2.2-litre diesel is, the British car maker has taken the new saloon on a journey from Birmingham to Munich.
The trip was conducted by independent tester David Madgwick who drove the 2012 Jaguar XF 2.2 accompanied by Alexander Madgwick. They managed to cover the 816 miles distance between the two cities, on a single fuel tank, which means they averaged 57 mpg (UK rating) and consumed 64-litres of diesel.
Rolls Royce Bespoke Phantom Drophead Coupe
Rolls Royce has built a one-off bespoke version Phantom Drophead Coupe for the the Masterpiece London 2011 fair, “designed to capture the essence of a perfect weekend get-away”.
This means the car was hand-built and packed with a host of unique design details, like teak decking, engraved tread plates and Spirit of Ecstacy mascot plus it features an eye-catching called Mazarine Blue, inspired from a butterfly.
