2012 Porsche 911 specs
The 2012 Porsche 911 specs have been leaked online by a member of the Teamspeed forum who downloaded the August edition of Car and Driver and posted it online. Car and Driver were on the exclusive list of journalists who got to join Porsche in the final round of testing the upcoming 911 in South Africa, so here is what they found out.
The 2011 Porsche 911, internally known as the 997 will be unveiled at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, and when compared with the outgoing model, the car is 2.5 inches longer and with a 4 inch longer wheelbase.
2012 Toyota Camry Teaser Video
Toyota has published a video through which it teases the 2012 Toyota Camry and in which the automaker’s president, Mr. Akio Toyoda tells everyone what to expect from the next generation model.
After thanking everyone for making the current generation Camry the No.1 car in America, Toyoda says this upcoming version will be even better. In fact he says the 2012 version will be the ‘best Camry ever’ and a ‘remarkable car in terms of handling, safety and fuel economy’.
Abarth Fiat 500C manual priced from 16856 GBP
Pricing for the manual version Abarth Fiat 500C was just announced. The car will be cheaper than the paddle-shift equipped version, and will start from 16,856 GBP.
This makes the Abarth Fiat 500C 1,000 GBP cheaper than the automatic version, and as the automaker explains, the car represents an ‘outstanding value for money’. Their statement is backed by the fact that the Abarh 500C comes with a stylish electric good which features a glass rear window, plus a third braking light along with a generous equipment list included as standard.
Chevrolet Camaro UK Price
GM announces pricing for the new generation Chevrolet Camaro going on sale in the UK. Both the convertible and the hard top models will arrive at dealerships in early 2012, with power extracted from a 432 PS 6.2-litre V8 engine and featuring a suspension ‘fine-tuned for European roads’. We take it that means softer.
Both version are based on the top specification model and besides components like 20 inch alloys, Brembo brakes, leather upholstery, a 9-speaker audio system from Boston Acoustics, Bluetooth and rear parking sensors, the cars also feature type-approved lighting and European calibrated dials.
Renault Clio RS 200 and Twingo RS 133 Silverstone GP edition
Renault has created two limited edition models especially for the UK, which are based on the Clio RS 200 and the Twingo RS 133 and to which it attached the Sliverstone GP badge along with a series extra equipment.
Both models will be limited to 50 exemplars and celebrate the manufacturer’s ‘existing relationship’ with UK’s famous Silverstone circuit.
Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet Price
The Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet is back on the market after a nine year absence, and as the new generation is going to be available for ordering in the UK starting from tomorrow, the automaker has decided to announce its price.
The new Golf Cabriolet which was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March, measures 4,215 mm in length, 1,424 mm in height and 2,578 mm in wheelbase (20 cm shorter than the EOS) and features an electrically-powered fabric roof which can be folded in 9.5 seconds at speeds of up to 18 mph.

The journalists from AutoExpress wanted to see how the new Audi A7 behaves in the four door coupe segment, and in order to find that out they have compared it with the Porsche Panamera and with the model which created this class, the Mercedes CLS.

Its boot is the most spacious of the three, while its interior is very quiet, refined and filled with gadgets. The same story goes for the Porsche Panamera, only in this case the car costs 18,000 GBP, and offers the most sporty driving experience in this class.
AC Schnitzer 2011 BMW X3
The aftermarket specialists from AC Schitzer are presenting their latest range of accessories available for the new generation 2011 BMW X3.

MINI Inspired by Goodwood Price
MINI has announced pricing for its special edition ‘Insipirded by Goodwood’ model unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in April.
The car combines Rolls Royce luxury with the MINI driving experience for a price that starts at 41,000 GBP.There will be 1,000 units assembled, with the first customer deliveries start in in March 2012.
The MINI Inspired by Goodwood features top grade materials and craftsmanship, with some of the details including Rolls Royce specific premium wood (Walnut Burr) on the dashboard and door handles, cashmere roof linings, sun visors and rear storage tray, deep-pile lambswool foot mats, and the exclusive Cornsilk colour throughout the interior.
