Video: Range Rover Evoque 5 Door Review
We’ve seen Autocar drive the coupe version Range Rover Evoque, so now its time to see what AutoExpress thinks about the more practical 5-door version.
This new model is sportier, more affordable and less likely to annoy the environmentalists but even though it looks totaly different, the Evoque is actually based on the Freelander, so AutoExpress has conducted a series of tests in order to find out if the car is worth being badged a Land Rover.

Here is BMW’s latest promo for the new 1 Series hatchback. The clip is called ‘check my machine’ and it shows the new generation model getting assembled at the automaker’s Regensburg plant.
This new promo represents a collaboration between BMW and Jonas Imbery (Gomma Records), Mirko Borsche (Bureau mirko borsche) and The Brainstormclub, and the funky soundtrack you hear for almost 3 minutes contains just noises generated by the new 1 Series.

2012 Toyota Hilux Facelift
Toyota is introducing the facelifted 2012 Hilux, a revised version which features an updated interior, a redesigned exterior and more efficient engines through which the automaker wants to continue its success in the pick-up segment.
The 2012 Toyota Hilux facelift comes with a higher quality interior, a redesigned upper dashboard, a new, horizontal centre instrument cluster and a 6.1 inch colour touch screen that is part of the vehicle’s multimedia system.
2012 Toyota Yaris Price
The facelift version 2012 Toyota Yaris goes on sale in the UK, so the Japanese have announced its price along with details regarding some of its key features.
Available in four trim levels (T2, TR, SR and T Spirit) the 2012 Toyota Yaris features a roomier interior, enhanced versatility, more efficient powertrains along affordable multimedia connectivity through the new Toutch and Go audio system which incorporates touchscreen controls, Bluetooth/USB connectivity and a rear parking camera.
The engines available on this third generation Yaris are a 1.0 and 1.33-litre petrols and a 1.4-litre D-4D turbodiesel.
Range Rover Evoque Review Video
Another premium compact SUV recently tested by Autocar apart from the Audi Q3 is the new 3-door version Range Rover Evoque.
The actual trim reviewed by Autocar was the SD Prestige Coupe which starts at 39,990 GBP and produces 187 bhp at 3,500 rpm and 310 lb-ft of torque at 1,750 rpm from a 4.cylinder, 2179cc turbodiesel engine. This engine uses a six-speed automatic in order to get the 1,670 Kg Evoque Coupe moving, and when it comes to performance, the car can go from nought to 60 mph in 8.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 121 mph.

The new Audi Q3 version 2.0 TDI SE Quattro is the subject of Autocar’s latest test drive, so if you follow the jump you’ll find out what they think about this compact premium off roader destined to battle with the BMW X1 and the brand new Range Rover Evoque.
Priced from 28,460 GBP the Audi Q3 2.0 TDI SE extracts its juices from a 4-cylinder 1968cc turbodiesel which delivers 175 bhp at 4,200 rpm and 280 lb-ft of torque at 1,750 rpm. The car weights 1,660 Kg and spins all four wheels via a seven-speed dual clutch automatic. Consumption figures for the Audi Q3 indicate the car returns 47.9 mpg (combined UK cycle) while CO2 emissions are 156 grammes per Km.
Romeo Ferraris Mini Countryman
Romeo Ferraris has created a special tuning program that includes both mechanical and styling changes for the MINI Countryman. This program is dedicated to Italy and celebrates ‘150 years of unity’.
Apart from featuring a blue matte paint, the Romeo Ferraris Mini Countryman comes with a black background headlights, a black grille and black side frames, various badges and 19 inch OZ Racing II Ultralight alloys wrapped in Yokohama Advan Sport tires (size 225/40R19).
O.CT Audi R8 V8
The Austrian/Swiss tuners from O.CT were recently tasked with adding more power to the 4.2i V8 version Audi R8. Of course this could have been achieved in many ways, but their solution was to add a compressor with CNC mastered aluminium holding system to the engine, plus a custom suction system and an inner overflow-overpressure system.
The O.CT Audi R8 V8 also features a vent system for the crank case and a modified set of toothed belts, plus the engine has received a remapped ECU while the Vmax limiter was dropped
2012 Audi A5 Sportback Coupe Cabriolet and S5
Audi has refreshed the A5 lineup which contains the Coupe, Cabriolet, Sportback and S5 models. The new range features updated designs, perfected quattro systems, the latest generation infotainment systems and more fuel efficient engines.
The main visual changes are represented by the newly designed headlights and taillights, which now feature homogeneous LED daytime running lights and can get equipped with the optional xenon plus technology. The bumpers are also include a number of additional details while the the single frame grille features glossy black upper corners.
