Opel has announced that the new Corsa can be ordered with the 1.4 turbo gasoline engine. According to the German car manufacturer, the motor can deliver 150 horsepower and 220 Nm peak of torque.
The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and can run from stand still to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 8.9 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 207 km/h (128 mph). In terms of fuel efficiency, the Corsa 1.4 Turbo can return 5.9 liters per 100 kilometers (40 mpg) with CO2 emissions of 136 grams per kilometer.
The new Opel Corsa 1.4 Turbo will be available in three- and five-door versions and in Germany it will have a price tag of 17.380 euros plus 19% VAT. In addition, customers can also order the Turbo Plus Package.
This kit adds new frontal and rear spoilers, modified side skirts and faux carbon fiber mirror caps.
