The original Opel Corsa A was launched in 1982, and to mark the 40th anniversary, the German car manufacturer has decided to launch a special edition of the current generation.
The subcompact hatch will be painted in Rekord Red as a nod to the red color available on the first generation Corsa. The new model will be available with a contrast black roof and some other exterior bits also painted in black.
The special edition Corsa will be built in only 1982 units – as a nod to the launch year of the first generation – and all of them will use 17-inch wheels painted in glossy black with matte accents.
Also on the body, the Germans have prepared a blacked-out badge for the front and rear.
Inside the cabin, there will be tartan upholstery and an individually numbered plaque that goes from 0001 to 1982. It’s mounted on the passenger side of the dashboard on a black background with a red insert.
