The new Opel Adam has received more than 20.000 orders since October last year.
The Adam is a very important car for GM which plans to turn around its loss-making European operations.
Also it’s presented as a tough rival for the Fiat 500 and the Mini Cooper, especially since customers have the possibility to choose from more than 61,000 exterior variations and almost 82,000 interior designs.
Now, the model is offered with a 70 HP 1.2-liter and a 1.4-liter engine producing 87 HP and 100 HP, but in the future the company plans to launch it with a new-generation turbocharged engine connected to a new 6-speed manual gearbox.
