We have to give credit to tuners like Novitec Rosso who once in a while get to ‘play’ with already very exclusive models. For their most recent job they were tasked with enhancing the limited-edition Ferrari SA APERTA, which as you may know is basically the drop-top version of the 599.
The most important upgrade is under the bonnet where the NOVITEC Ferrari SA APERTA received a twin-supercharger that enables the V12 to jump from the standard 670 HP to no less than 888 HP (653 kW) at 8,400 rpm and 862 Nm of torque at 6,600 rpm.
If you do the math this means a 218 HP (160.4 kW) increase and a gain of 242 Nm of torque, so with these kind of performance under the hood it is no surprise that the NOVITEC Ferrari SA APERTA can reach a top speed in excess of 240 Km/h and rocket from 0 to 100 Km/h in 3.1 seconds.
This incredibly fast Ferrari, which by the way uses an F1 Superfast six-speed transmission, can also go from 0 to 200 Km/h in 9.1 seconds and from 0 to 300 Km/h in 21.9 seconds.
Apart from the engine upgrades, the NOVITEC Ferrari SA APERTA has also been fitted with a set of extremely lightweight forged wheels with diameters of 21 and 22 inches, sport springs and a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with butterfly valve.
