The experienced tuners from Novitec Rosso have done it again. This time they transformed the 8C Spider into the world’s most powerful and fastest Alfa Romeo.
The most important upgrades that made it all possible are the high-tech supercharger system and the stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system thanks to which power has jumped from 450 HP (331 kW) to 600 HP (441 kW) and 588 Nm of torque at 5,400 rpm.
This custom supercharger we mentioned above, which boosts the Novitec Alfa Romeo 8C Spider’s 4.7-litre V8, is driven by a cogged tooth belt directly from the crankshaft while the maximum boost pressure has been limited to 0.37 bar. A new water to air intercooler and custom injector have also been fitted, so as you can imagine the car’s control unit had to be recalibrated.
Due to the fact that it also received custom tailored tires wrapped around 21/22 inch alloys and a height adjustable suspension, the Novitec Alfa Romeo 8C Spider is now able of reaching a top speed of 305 Km/h (up from 290 Km/h) while its new 0 to 100 Km/h (0 to 62 mph) sprint time is 3.9 seconds.
Pricing for the compression conversion is 19,900 Euros.
