The first official Nissan LEAF video was released by the Japanese car manufacturer showing their zero emissions hatchback in action.
The Nissan LEAF features a lithium-ion battery that supplies an 107 HP (80 kW) electric engine with energy. The car has a 100 miles autonomy on a single charge, an takes approximately 8 hours to completely recharge it at a 200V outlet. If you don’t have that much then the lithium-ion battery pack can be recharged to up to 80% in less than 30 minutes.
In the Nissan LEAF video we also get a view of the interior gadgets and the zero emission vehicle is expected to go on sale in US, Europe and Japan in 2010.
