Nissan has added a new dimension to the Juke range, something which they call sophisticated and chic and which they badged as the ‘Shiro’.
Starting with the exterior this new top range version comes with dark grey 17 inch alloys, satin silver mirrors and door handles plus a new body colour called Nightshade.
On the inside the Juke Shiro features a a number of white flashes such as a white center console, white stitching on the steering wheel and leather seats and a white background colour visible through the perforated leather facing.
The Nissan Juke Shiro is based on the top Tekna grade and is available with three engine choices : the 81kW (110PS) 1.5-litre dCi; 86kW (117PS) normally aspirated 1.6-litre
petrol; and the turbocharged direct injection petrol 1.6-litre DIG-T
which develops 140kW (190PS).
All three engines send their power to the front wheels via a 5- or a 6-speed manual transmission.
The 1.6-litre DIG-T version is also available with a 4×4 four-wheel-drive system, and in this case the engine is coupled to the latest generation CVT transmission.
The Juke Shiro comes with safety features such as ESP, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist and three head restraints in the rear as standard, plus standard technology like a colour reversing camera, sat-nav, Intelligent Key with engine start button,
heated front seats, Climate Control, automatic wipers and lights,
folding door mirrors and rear privacy glass.
